  1. I agree that both sides require nearly equal amounts of faith in order to believe them in totality.
  2. I can imagine how happy you were that she enjoyed it so much. While I'm in NO hurry to be a grandpa, myself, at least there's moments like that to look forward to.
  3. Maybe I'm underestimating Jesse, but I doubt he'd remember the plant or make the mental connection. Am I the only one wondering if the connection between the restaurant mega-conglomerate and the meth operation is really over? They conveniently dropped that part of the storyline kind of quickly.

    M&P 15-22?

I bet it would be fun with a suppressor.

    M&P 15-22?

I wouldn't let the absence of a flash hider bother me one bit. A friend of mine has one without the flash hider and it shoots just as good as mine. If you have your heart set on a suppressor, you'll likely be glad it doesn't have one.
  6. Something Mike on BB said has me thinking. He tells Walt how good he had it working with Gus and that he could have kept cooking forever, but NOOO...he had to go and get all power hungry. I felt like Hank was closing in on Fring's operation and it was a matter of time. You guys get the same impression?
  7. Walt shook Jesse to wake him and Jane rolled over onto her back and started to puke. Walt may not have known how junkies sleep to prevent this, but when he saw her puking in her sleep a light definitely came on in his head. He knew she was dying and how to stop it, but it was too convenient for her to be out of the picture. As a result, Jesse eventually came around and hundreds of people died in the plane crash.
  8. This "no spoilers" thing is killing me too. I agree, if you aren't caught up you shouldn't be reading threads about the show on the Internet. Despite the minibike incident, I'm liking the new kid in the crew. He has a good work ethic. Walt seems to like him too.
  9. +1million I'm not energized to vote by Romney, but I'm more energized to vote than ever in my lifetime...to get Obama out of office. I think Kerry would have been pretty bad too, though.
  10. To correct my earlier scoreboard with up-to-date reports... 56 yr old fashion designer: 5 shots, 5 hits, 1 kill, 0 bystanders wounded the NYPD (trained pros): 16 shots, 7 hits, 1 kill, 9 bystanders wounded I'm no less impressed that the bystanders were hit by ricochets. And like gregintenn says, what if a civie had injured that many people with his firearm in an equally lawful situation?
  11. that whole sport is riddled with doping scandal after doping scandal huh! just like American sports...who'd have thought?
  12. 53 yr old fashion designer: 2 shots fired, 2 hits, 1 kill, 0 bystanders wounded NYPD: 16 rounds fired (from 8 ft away), ? hits, 1 kill, 9 bystanders wounded too bad they killed him, he could start teaching marksmanship at the NYPD shooting range

    M&P 15-22?

It's a piece of crap, don't buy it. Just give me the guy's name/number. Just kidding of course. At that price it's a freaking steal!! Great guns, you're gonna LOVE it. If you change your mind, I'd buy myself a 2nd one off him for that price. Mine doesn't like copper jacketed ammo (especially Winchester and Remington Golden Bullets), but that's fine with me. Federal bulk ammo is the cheapest anyway and I've never had an issue with it. Mine also has problems with subsonic rounds too. This is no big secret, it's right in the owners manual.
  14. If Armstrong and his team doped, I don't believe he/they were the only ones. This is an American organization going after him, so it's not just the frog-eating Frenchies whining...this time. LOL. If the USADA had authority to test other countries' athletes, I wonder if they'd find similar results. I'm not saying that makes it right to cheat. I'm just saying if doping is as widespread as it appears to be, why just him?
  15. Caster, I know nothing about casting lead, but hope to start some day. Please elaborate for the ignorant, like me. What will happen if a small rock were mixed in with the lead?
  16. I'm not a big fan of the wannabes running around in Affliction and Tapout gear either. In all fairness, they may have similar comments about me wearing a Ruger tshirt. I hope nobody at the shooting range thinks I'm trying to pretend to be a pro shooter if I wear a Glock hat.
  17. Getting your pic taken w/ her is quite Perky?! Is that Arianny?
  18. Great job by this LEO!! Despite the kid trying to stir things up he kept it brief and professional. I hate to see cops roll up w/ guns in hand screaming and man-handling people almost as much as I hate to see YouTube hot shots trying to escalate calm situations with adversarial attitudes.
  19. The cheese has slid off Walt's cracker. I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out.
  20. Welcome to the party, Mike. I see what you mean about this season being a let down, but only in comparison to the 1st 4 seasons. This season is still better than most of the crap on TV.
  21. Starting to look a lot more like everyone overreacted, including the shrink that ordered more evaluation and the 1st judge that agreed and ordered the 30 days. Good thing he had big shot lawyers. The average joe would've been railroaded.
  22. Ha! I feel like an idiot. Someone on another forum said the handle was "slick". Duh, now that I reread it, I realize they must mean "nice/cool"...I thought slippery when I saw it and it stuck in my head. My bad.
  23. Love the look. I hear the handle is a lil slippery. Any truth?

    Food & Drink

Tonight's supper was boring (turkey sandwich and broccoli cheese soup), but yesterday for lunch I went to McNamara's Irish Pub. You ain't lived til you've had their Caledonia Scotch Eggs. In case you aren't "in the know", that's a mild Irish sausage patty wrapped around a boiled egg and flash fried to cook the sausage. It's served with a rustic stone-ground mustard.
  25. Seems to me we only have part of the story. That's a lot of agencies working together to bring in a guy who only made the comments we've read so far. There's got to be more to it...there just has to be, right? I don't subscribe to the idea that gov't agencies are just here to serve the people, but I also don't subscribe to the idea that they're just here to harm the people either.
