  1. I liked the 2nd one too, but this was even better IMO. I'm sure you already know this from the trailers, so it's not a spoiler...all the familiar faces that are still alive appeared in this one. It was a great thrill.
  2. I hear ya, my wife didn't bail soon enough. Like you, she hated the sleep study and the mask/hoses, but went through with it anyway. I guess she thought she'd adapt, but it never happened. She ended up returning the machine, but was out a lot of money for her share of all the costs. It's certainly not for everyone.
  3. Ghostbusters: Frozen was really good. My wife and I took our grandson to see it on opening day. He's a huge fan and the movie did not disappoint. It's definitely the 2nd best in the series after the original.
  4. I am thrilled with that series and surprised how good it is!
  5. Mind if I ask what happened to make you pull out?
  6. I think they look GREAT!!! That's a very handsome looking knife.
  7. The Sleep Center in M'boro is where I first went. I didn't like my sleep doctor, but I liked the staff and the facility in general. They setup a VERY generous payment plan that included the study and the machine. I paid $30/month until I could afford to pay the remaining lump sum (around $1800 total). I took that offer as that was all I could afford at the time and aside from quitting smoking, it was the best health decision I ever made. I was literally about to lose my job for dozing off at work. I had no clue I quit breathing 87 times per hour. My new sleep doc upgraded me to a modern cpap machine a couple of years ago and the total cost of the machine was about $700. The DME company that supplied it let me pay it off in small monthly payments. My best piece of advice is to let them fit you for a mask, but buy it on Amazon. The DME will say you need a prescription to buy a mask but it's a lie. I buy masks, hoses, filters, etc on Amazon exclusively w/out an Rx.
  8. same here, I won't carry a gun with a manual safety
  9. That's awesome, way to go! And super cool of you to offer it to someone else in need. I got an upgrade through my insurance due to the age of my old CPAP. I was going to throw out the old one because it was part of that big cancer foam recall. Turns out they replaced it, so I have 2 (one for downstairs naps in my recliner and one for bed). I've offered my spare to friends/family who suspect they need one. My brother-in-law took me up on it and saw a doc about getting his own after only 2 days of using it. When his came in, he returned mine and he lived happily ever after. It's definitely a game changer for most.
  10. I predict our tax dollars will fund the rebuild and construction will be complete before we get one red cent out of ship owner or their insurance.
  11. if you have room for them, keep them. Even if you don't have a sentimental attachment, maybe someone else in the family will or does. Personally, I'd sooner add another safe than get rid of gun with sentimental value.
  12. Wow, that YouTube video was revealing. That bridge went down instantly.
  13. I bet thousands of people had their commutes tripled today as a result too. You're right. Funneling all those semi trucks into other routes is going to be a disaster for logistics.
  14. A buddy and I made a volcano for science class. We melted some red candles for lava and burned some green army men to put in the path of the lava. We also shot them off the fence with bb guns too. good times, huh?
  15. Thank God they were able to stop traffic due to the mayday from the ship. I can only imagine how bad this tragedy would have been otherwise. With the port being closed now and the bridge down for who knows how long, it sure is a huge impact. That was apparently the #1 port of entry for vehicles coming into the US.
  16. what this thread needs is more pictures
  17. Every new story I've read so far says they kicked the door in around 6am to serve a warrant for selling guns w/out proper paperwork. That sounds exactly like what the ATF would do. Rather than arrest him when he leaves the home, pull him over on the way to work, or arrest him at work, they chose the most violent, risky, and least intelligent means to their end.
  18. You'd think that since it looks like maple syrup it'd taste good, but it's not as good as the one with pig on the label.
  19. Especially if the peeling is a long single strand.
  20. Older sisters at best for me too if that's the 70s. The photo looks more like it's from the 60s to me.
  21. I wish I'd beaten @KahrMan to the punch on the one with the flat handle, LOL. congrats, @bubbadavis
  22. Fixed it for ya
  23. That's a strange offer, but I'd be tempted, LOL. I've always wanted one of those goats.
  24. I thought the question sounded a little accusatory, yet all but one response was civil and informative. I guess I don't see enough "not shot or LNIB" classifieds to say "nearly everyone's weapons". If it actually is a significant percentage, I'd chalk it up to the fact that most don't sell the guns they like unless money's tight. I suspect most of us only sell the guns we bought, but realized we don't like as much as we expected or don't use much, which would explain the round count.
