I trapped quite a few of them when I was growing up. My granny finally got sick of helping me clean em and made me do it myself, but her and grandpa didn't seem to get tired of helping me eat em.

If I was a defense attorney and I kept a habitual drunk driver out of jail and he plows into a minivan and kills someone a few weeks later, I couldn't sleep at night. If the arrest was unfounded and he never had a DUI before or ever again, I'd feel like I was doing good. I don't spend a lot of time in court, but I hear about a lot of the former cases for it not to be common.

Oh yeah, because all lowlife DUI lawyers are just like John Adams....right!? There's a difference between defending an innocent party against false charges and exploiting the legal system to allow scumbag drunk drivers to continue to go out night after night endangering the lives of decent people. The percentage of innocent clients they defend is statistically insignificant compared to their client base and we all know it. The court system is rigged to protect innocents from prosecution, not the other way around. Also, I specifically called out DUI lawyers, not all attorneys, so don't get all butt-hurt and try acting like I said all layers are low-lifes.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I have no love for those lazy pieces of %&#* either, but at least a plea is better than not-guilty (i.e. no punishment at all). I still despise those defense attorneys who specialize in DUI law even more, though. I'd be more proud if my kid became a janitor than one of these low-lifes.

As Beck suggested in the video, we need to just turn our back on this region unless they attack us or our allies. These people are never going to be trusted allies, regardless of what we do.

  I couldn't agree more! I'm not saying we should drag anyone who's had a single beer out in the woods and shoot them, if they're caught driving. However, drinkers have the burden of knowing both the legal limit and their own limit and not exceeding either. If they can't/don't, the penalty is already no where stiff enough, IMO.

I actually like her gun okay. It's very comfortable and reliable. It's just not very accurate.

Imagine if you Mexican carry that gun while riding that bike? Nothing worse than a sticky motorcycle seat.

If you had over 600 rounds through yours and had seen no sign of the reported issue would you still send it back amidst the rush? My only skepticism is in the fact that I haven't heard of anyone having the issue they are recalling it for. I know I haven't.

My only hope is that in the long run the poor girl remembers neither the assault nor seeing what her father did. Both could leave painful scars on her psyche. Nonetheless, kudos to the grand jury for refusing to return an indictment. Scum like Flores don't deserve to be breathing the same air as decent folks.

That's a darn good point and bringing the gun to midline to take advantage of larger muscle groups definitely takes the gun "out of the box" where you should be operating.

You have me reconsidering how many of those accuracy complaints come from gun newbies and/or the guys I see at the range with holes splattered all over a 12" target from 5 yds. LOL Curious, did the wife's Witness with replacement sights still come in under the CZ price? I have a helluva time finding CZ sights without going online. Were the target sights CZ compatible?

I wouldn't even try the reduced power recoil, if it were up to me. It may make it easier to rack the slide and assist with this issue, but you're just introducing more abuse to the slide stop, barrel link, and barrel legs. You'll get more peeing over time by reducing the spring weight and damage your gun. About the powder charge...going from 4 grains to 5 grains of Bullseys costs a mere $0.003 (3 tenths of a penny) per round. So, cost savings isn't a realistic factor. I agree with most that this should be your culprit. 5.0 gr of Bullseye with a 230 gr fmj should just get you over 700 fps and enough power to compress the standard spring and cycle the action.

I taught my wife, daughter and sisters to use the technique in the link peejman posted. My sisters are rather petite lil thangs and lack any semblance of upper body strength. Both could lock the slide back on any of my guns once they stopped trying to muscle the slide rearward instead of anchoring the slide and pushing the frame forward.
