1. nice ride! love it
2. Hey! I used to drive a powder blue station wagon back in the 80's. It was the best i could do, so lay off of guys with powder blue station wagons, bub.
3. I agree that Mr. Potterfield is one of the good guys.   Nonetheless, I find myself ordering elsewhere lately. My C&R being on file has screwed me more than once on an order when the items in my cart don't get a dealer discount. Add to that the fact that the $10 off $100 order coupon codes don't work with dealer accounts.   It leaves me in a spot where big orders get 10% off, but not for dealers and small orders get fees and ridiculous shipping. That's why I usually use Amazon or Optics Planet instead.
4. Good stuff, JAB. That mirrors what I read for a class at MTSU back in the day.   Good professors/teachers hate textbooks, because they are written to be PC and clean and bland.

Tactical Walls

Are your wall studs at non-standard widths? Just curious, I may have issues too, haven't checked.
6. I've seen some pretty cool ideas for concealing guns around your house, but this is my favorite idea yet. I've seen others do it, but this guy really has it all figured out, IMO.      Pretty cool, huh?      This type of locking mechanism is brilliant too. I saw a guy at the gun show that makes hollow mantles for your fireplace that used this method to open a door where a gun could be stored. It was pretty badass.
7.   If it had happened to anyone else, I'd laugh too...pretty stupid of me, I deserve being laughed at.
8. I know a lot of people think it's silly to argue over the term magazine vs clip, but right is right and wrong is wrong. I don't correct everyone I hear use the terms incorrectly, but I still expect a gun manufacturer to get it right.   My guess is the doofus approving the marketing isn't a gun guy.
9. Made a bench vise in a metalworking class at TTU once. Milling the base, jaws, anvil, etc went smoothly enough. After cutting threads on the spindle successfully, I was clearly over-confident in my skills with a lathe. You cut threads at a slow speed, but turning the handle requires a bit more rpms, so you have to use a lathe-dog to hold the material in place. That's where the rule about NEVER EVER EVER making tool adjustments until the lathe comes to a complete stop comes in. Only I was way too smart for that. I had already done so a few times while cutting the threads (with no lathe dog in place). I loosened the tool holder, inserted a new one, tightened the nut and BAM! I'm seeing stars, my white sweatshirt is red, my eyes are watering, and my nose is broken. Apparently my wrench hit the lathe dog, sending it hurdling at my face at what seemed like the speed of sound, based on the pain.
10. I love the way it ended except one thing. I'd like for Todd to have cried and pee his pants on his way out.
11. Jeez, some people are hard to please. I suppose you'd have asked her if the ammo was brass or steel too, huh?
12. Pretty cool trick, if used wisely. Kinda like the opposite of the forward assist.
13. IMO, that's an awesome testimonial for the OtterBox, not the phone. Nonetheless, my daughter dropped her iPhone in the dogs' water bowl. She shook out the water quickly and dropped it into a container of rice to absorb the moisture and it kept working. Six months later it fell 3 feet onto the carpet runner on the stairs and died. The technician at the Apple store wouldn't do anything for us, because the watermark was tripped. I explained that it dying had nothing to do with water, but he basically said too bad so sad, the warranty is voided.
14. Okay, so I was just kidding about iPhone users being dumb. I only recently switched to an Android phone, myself. However, there's no denying that Apple spent a lot of money marketing to customers who aren't very tech-savvy. Well, here's the result: http://www.slashgear.com/ios-7-waterproof-hoax-goes-viral-lesson-learned-24298935/ Apparently the hoax went viral and Apple got tons of calls from angry users who tested the new feature, much to their disappointment. Sorry if I seem insensitive, but that's freakin' hilarious to me that anyone was gullible enough to believe it, yet alone confident enough in the new software to try it. http://www.slashgear.com/ios-7-waterproof-hoax-expands-with-airdrop-protection-27299449/ This newest hoax is almost as funny, claiming it can now survive a 1.5 m drop and land on it's back to protect the glass. I can't wait to see how many fall for this one too. Maybe it's all a clever ploy by Apple to force users to buy new phones (just kidding, of course).
15. Looks like a baby Eastern Kingsnake to me. Cute lil guy. Thanks for not harming him.
16. Well, it's new to me and freakin' hilarious! Thanks for posting, everybody at work liked it too.
17. That is very very cool. Congrats on the find, regardless of whether it's the real deal or not.
18. Pretty much sums up my beliefs about the subject. Dang, she IS a good writer.
19. I spoke to a guy at The Nashville Armory on Monday. They had to send back over a dozen 9mm & 45 XD-S. I know this is a 3rd-hand account by now, but he said a customer came in late last week saying he already had his back. If true, that gives me hope.
20. Loved it! Ever pay attention to the 12 videos that YouTube suggests after the video ends? After that one, 3 of them were Reagan clips...good stuff.
21. I only needed to see the mug shots to know the cheese had done slid off their crackers.

Honest people

That's pretty awesome of both of you.
23. Very nice heirloom
24. I sent mine in the Monday following the announcement. I REALLY hope to get it back soon, so I can run enough rounds through it to trust it for carrying again.   I didn't realize how much I'd miss it that lil guy until I started carrying a bigger/heavier gun in its place. It's funny that the gun it replaced as my primary EDC was small/light in my eyes until I got used to the XD-S.
25.   I prefer Hardee's gravy 'n biscuits, myself, but you can't get them at night.
