Questions about 9mm load data...... discrepancy

Too bad you aren't in the Nashville area, I have 5 CZs I'd let you try out. They are fantastic guns, especially for the purpose you named. I was drawn to CZ by the ergonomics, but I stayed for the accuracy. No other handgun I've tried feels as good in my hand as a CZ. I hear this often too from people holding one for the first time. I doubt a CZ is any more inherently accurate than any other handgun, but there are lots of accounts of people who say they picked up a CZ and they just shot it better than they do other handguns. Their triggers break clean. They fit your hand and are very controllable. Their bore axis is very low and their slides run inside the frame rails. Put all those things together and you increase the shooter's ability to break the shot clean without disturbing the sight picture. I believe that's why many shooters say they are more accurate. On the downside, many, including myself, find that the trigger is a little gritty out of the box. Don't let that scare you off, though. After a couple hundred rounds and some dry firing practice, the trigger becomes very smooth very quickly. The end result is a buttery smooth trigger that has fairly even resistance throughout the pull.

Oh, that's awesome to hear. They got mine on Sept. 4, so if I'm lucky, I might hear from them soon too.

I needed a #45 bit the other day to drill the front sight on a pistol. Ordered it from eBay for $1.50 shipped and got it in 4 days.
Let me first start out by saying, the guy from Shooter's Guns & Ammo is a complete dick.
I'm sorry to hear that. He was pretty cool with me. Plus, he always seems to have decent prices on what I'm looking at at the time. Wish I had seen you there. It would have been cool to put a name with a face, if you know what I mean. I'm trying to talk a different buddy into going back up there tomorrow. If I do, I'll touch base with you too see if anyone else already found your dust cover. If not., I don't mind snagging it for you, if it's still there.

Congrats, man. That gives me hope! I surrendered mine about 4 days after you did Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk

I think Im about done with Political posts for a while...
BigK replied to a topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
For roughly the past 20 years almost all I've listened to in the car is political talk radio. Between that and the news on TV I have gradually gotten frustrated with both parties to the point that I feel nearly hopeless. The more I listened/watched the further away from the Constitution I feel our gov't has gotten. I vested a lot of hope in the Tea Party. I feel like if they got elected in large numbers we'd at least shrink the gov't and get our economy in check. I don't trust them with moral/social issues, though. Given enough power, I fear they'd try to install a theocracy of sorts, which is not Constitutional either. So, I try not to listen to as much news as I used to. A few hours a week keeps me angry enough to hate the Dems the most, but the GOP isn't much better. Neither party cares what the people want any more. You know who does? Miranda Lambert, Dropkick Murphys Luke Bryan, Flogging Molly, AC/DC, Lynrd Skynrd, Godsmack, Lady Antebellum, etc. Listening to them more has made me more happy in the past year than the news did in the previous 20 years. -
OMG, that's hilarious.

If you see a 5' 3" redhead with long curly hair, freckles, and green eyes walking around with a retarded caveman with 1/4" thick glasses and a stupid look on his face while you're there, it's probably my sister and her husband. Tell her I said "Hi"

I suspect the dog put a round back in there to mess with you. seriously though, same thing happened to my dad once. scared the crap out of me. ironically, it was a lever-action 30-30.

I'd split a sixer with this guy just to watch him interview potential buyers.

I know this thread is really OLD, but I just started reading it today. I'm quite impressed.

Hickenlooper actually thought he had a chance?!?!?!
BigK replied to Steelharp's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
If the DumbAsCraps nominated him, it'd help the GOP chances, unless they run another McCain/Romney. -
I've read some posts on XDTalk that say some people didn't get an email offering a free magazine. Some just got the update about the fix and the date. So, I wonder if everyone will get a free magazine or only those who sent theirs in early?

How much money could we trim from the fed budget if we shut down the EBT/STARS system EVERY weekend, making them do all their shopping on weekdays while their benefactors are working. I know I'd appreciate shorter lines at Kroger/Walmart on Saturdays and Sundays.

How has or will the government shutdown affected you
BigK replied to c.a.willard's topic in General Chat
Not affecting me in any way, but I feel for the good people out there and on here that are being affected. Aside from the vindictive way the "shutdown" was engineered to inflict as much pain as possible, I think we'll be better off for it. Our fed gov't has been overstepping its Constitutional boundaries for decades, becoming too large to manage. Luckily, Obama, Reid, and their cronies are pissing off as many or more people than the GOP. I heard on 99.7 that the A$$hat-in-chief only has a 37% approval rating. Moves like spending as much money or more to enforce park shutdowns instead of leaving them open will not be forgotten in the mid-term elections next year. Maybe we'll get lucky and wind up with a lot more small gov't minded folks in Congress. -
I applaud your resourcefulness. For a mere $5.25, the guys at CountyComm would be glad to save you some welding. But, I think your version has more "cool factor". Nonetheless, here's their video:

Pentagon freezes death benefits for fallen soldiers' families

Meanwhile, I bet you not one single welfare check was even delivered late and all of the food stamp deposits went through just fine. -
My 1st press was a Lee turret. I reasoned that it'd be just as good as a Dillon, if you consider all the money I'll save. I can admit when I'm wrong. I load 9mm Luger on a 650 now and 45 acp on a 550. Once you go BLUE, you'll always stay true. The Lee sits untouched in the off chance I feel like reloading a dozen or so Makarovs for the range.

His Taurus jammed, LMFAO. Wouldn't have needed the hawk if he'd been toting a Hi-Point instead. He could have thrown it the target...InstaKill!

Oh come on, that's not so bad...a little duct tape will hold it together until the Crazy Glue dries. Then you're back in the fight.

I heard a cop on Sleepy Hollow last night un-cock her Glock when she realized the threat was over.

I have a lot of kydex hanging around from making holsters. I can see myself making small ones that tuck in pockets to hold small tools and supplies. Thanks for the idea. Are you calling me a backpack organizer whore?
