I hope that the very first case when cops ignore a MWAG call is when some bad guy is seen openly carrying a gun into this idiot's house. If he survives, I'll laugh when I hear him whine about how the cops never showed up to help save him from the bad guy who they knew had a gun. And if the cops don't chalk it up to someone crying wolf, I hope they are detained by some whack-job just like him who wastes their time and prevents them from doing real police work.

I'm sure that NY will craft a law against high capacity underwear that caps underwear elasticity at 7". Since some citizens already own hi-cap drawers, there'll have to be a buy-back program too.

Even if I DID pull my pants up to my chest, I wouldn't have my underwear up there too.   However, I can see how the kind of guys who WOULD pull their pants up that high might. After all, they've already demonstrated their keen fashion sense with the pants, why stop there?

I think you'll find that among those who have shot a CZ you won't find any complaints about reliability. I currently have a P-01, CZ 82, CZ 97 BD, CZ 75 Phantom, and a CZ 75 Shadow. I've owned 3 others which I regret selling/trading as well and all have been very dependable guns. For the first handgun class I took, I used my P-01. I put over 1000 rounds through it in 2 days without cleaning it. I didn't have a single malfunction that wasn't staged for the purpose of training.

Have you asked around over on CZFirearms.us? There is a lot of specific expertise to be found over there. Otherwise, my only suggestion is that if it's NOT a live round, I'd try to drive it out from the barrel with a wood dowel and a rubber mallet.

I got one of the less expensive black ones for Father's day one year and haven't had a single issue. I think it's made pretty darn good, but I still look at those shiny red tool boxes every time I go in a Harbor Freight. Something about tool boxes, I love them.

This is why our Founding Fathers gave the majority of powers to the States (not that the Feds haven't encroached on them). It allowed us the freedoms to live with like-minded folks that agreed with one another. If you don't like how a state conducts its affairs you can find one that you do like. Like you said, it is a PITA, but what recourse do we have? A largely liberal-minded person who can't stand TN's gun laws can move to CT, since he's unlikely to affect the change he desires here and vice versa. I don't see that as giving up, just being practical.

I apologize in advance, since this sounds like I'm splitting hairs, but this is 100% the fault of CT citizens: First, they elected these buffoons to office and second, the gun owners in that line are not there against their will, there's UHaul trucks in CT too. I'd like to think we just have better sense at the poll than CT, but I mostly believe that we are just more like-minded here in TN. We're lucky to have fewer hand-wringing ninnies than they have. If you find yourself in unsavory company, you run them off or you leave. Those poor gunowners up there that didn't move when they law was passed bent over and took it, voluntarily.
