  1. That does seem odd. I've seen the aftermath of carnivores that went straight for the viscera and skipped the muscular areas, but the whole upper half of that guy was picked clean. Weird.
  2. Hmm. So you can order from Bud's online, have it shipped to Bud's in Seeverville and not pay sales tax. Sounds subversive. I like it.
  3. I did that once. It was cheaper. Next time I checked it was more expensive. So YMMV.
  4. I would. Thats how any repair shop would fix it. Done it plenty of times and they always hold up fine.
  5. Thanks. I didn't want to be the one that said it. :)
  6. Dented sheet metal is one thing. Breaking windows when the driver and/or passengers are in the car is a whole different ball game. Flying glass can cause grievous injury. And after a window is broken, you're one swing away from a head injury. Threatening to break windows when my little boy is in the car is begging to be shot.
  7. Plus, I don't think I've ever seen a rimfire lever action that loaded through a loading gate in the receiver. That's pretty much a center fire thing.
  8. Let's hope you're right.  This strain seems to be particularly contagious.
  9. It makes one wonder, though. Some of the cases making the news are doctors and AIDS workers. If a doctor cannot avoid contracting it, then it must be spreading pretty easily. I can't see a doctor treating an Ebola patient without taking some extraordinary protective measures.
  10. May I ask why the Creedmore over .260 Remington?
  11. This. In every situation.
  12. When somebody asks me if I have any ID, I say "idee 'bout what?" When they ask my name I show them my belt.
  13.   Ouch.     But that's probably what will happen.   Unfortunately.
  14.   I have met Gordon a couple times.  He really is a good soul.  I had no idea that his pain situation is what it is.  He hides it well.  I shouldn't say hides it. Overcomes it is more appropriate.  That isn't weakness.  That's strength.
  15. I bought a kit many years ago (late '80s-early '90s) that purported to do the same thing.  This idea will be much more durable and higher quality than that kit was.  I did maybe 2 or 3 sights.  The paint wore or chipped off rather soon.  Maybe if I had drilled an indention, it may have lasted longer, but I'll never know.  The glow powder mixed in epoxy should last indefinitely.   Thanks for the post.   Will
  16. In Knox Co, I forgot to take my pepper spray off my key chain once when entering the courthouse.  They kept it until I left, then gave it back.     I'd follow up.  Just on principle.  They shouldn't keep stuff.  Just hold it until you exit the building.  I don't know about the actual law, but why act like the TSA?   And advise your friend to next time go to a county clerk office instead of the courthouse, if possible.  Don't know about his county, but here most of the clerk offices aren't posted and do not have metal detectors.
  17. Or assassin's weapon. "Hmmm, Watson. Based on bullet markings, the victim seems to have been shot with multiple weapons."
  18. Fun fact for ya... The COP 357 was featured in a recent movie. 21 Jump Street. A hilarious movie if you're not offended by crass language. Couldn't find the whole scene, but part of it is at the end of this clip. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kdxecfBYa0s If the new one is not too expensive I might get one in .32 as a novelty. Since it's made in TN. I'm guessing it won't be cheap though.
  19. Yeah, I see no advantage over a pocket .380. And a distinct capacity disadvantage.
  20. Sounds like a grand opportunity for a new start. I wish you the best in your new endeavors.
  21. I'm sort of afraid to ask exactly how that would work.
  22. You mean they're outside? Engaging in real physical activity? Wow.
  23. Kinda similar to the COP 357. Edit: D'oh. Beat by Prag.
  24. Well I goggled and hit urban dictionary.com and I'm still in the dark. Edit: Never mind. Just had to go to the next page.
