  1. As a friend of mine likes to say, "if ya lub it, lube it. "
  2. I like it. He didn't give a price for the BEV Block. Or did I miss it?
  3. Dog is a fine meal. Just ask BO. However, I wouldn't eat without water. Just dehydrate quicker.
  4. Why not a miniskirt? I see a guy walking up and down Kingston Pike all the time wearing one. Wintertime? No problem. Add black leggings.
  5.   I like a compromise.  I'm leaning toward 18" barrels now.  16 is just too short in my opinion.  Barks too loudly, loses too much velocity.  But I have both 16 and 20 inch rifles.  So my next one will be 18".
  6. I've never used one of their uppers, but I've made a couple orders from their site. No problems. They also used to set up at Knoxville gun shows. That's been several years. Owned by a couple of ladies, I believe. Very nice people in my opinion.
  7. I remember hearing the same thing from another police chief in a large urban area (Detroit maybe?). My interpretation? "We need more money. You better give it to us or you're on your own. ". It's a scare tactic. Evidenced by the statement from the woman at the end who doesn't own a gun.
  8. All true.  Except for the Cracker Barrel.     Like R1100R mentioned, Best Italian in Cattleburg is pretty good.  Of course it's been over a decade since I was there.
  9.
  10. Mike could definitely fix it. But he may have to serialize it and add it to his records. I have used epoxy to fix misdrilled pin holes before. It held up fine. Were it me, I wouldn't have an issue with it. But I probably wouldn't use it to defend my life, either.
  11. Looking for a cheap reliable blaster? Try to find a used Taurus PT 92 or 99. Or a Stoeger Cougar.
  12.   Just curious.  Have some friends in Dawson County.     Welcome to Knox.     Macon always reminds me of the old story about the guy who had an airline ticket to Maconga.     Maconga?  The airline employee had no idea where that was.  So he shows her his ticket.   MACON GA   So, as far as I'm concerned, Macon, Georgia doesn't exist.   It's Maconga.
  13.   Really?  10 laws?
  14. Meh.  I'm gonna keep watching.  I don't usually like documentaries, but this one is pretty good
  15. If you're not going heavier than 62 grain, I wouldn't go with a faster twist than 1:9.  That said, I've shot lightweight (50 gr) varmint bullets through a 1:9 20" barrel and they spun apart in the air.  That won't happen with FMJs or most hollowpoints, but it's a possibility.     Were I going to use it as a varmint rifle and rarely go over 55 grains, I'd go with the 1:12.
  16. What part of Georgia?
  17.   Well, here ya go.  It's only one Saturday morning per month and only $15.  http://orsaidpa.com/   I know what you mean, though.  I haven't actually been there for several years.  Looks like they've done some work to the range.
  18.   The only time I've actually NEEDED one was when forming cases.  Sometimes the shoulder may not set back far enough or the neck may be too thick.  Otherwise, when reloading factory brass, a full-length resize takes care of it.
  19. Yes. The truing tool will be cheaper than a gunsmith or machinist. I have one. It's also useful if the barrel nut won't line up without too much torque.
  20. Oops. I guess my digital situational awareness needs honing.
  21. I just want to know where to discuss zombies now. Speaking of, guess what comes on tv tonight!
  22. That's a nice collection of 99s.
  23.   Bummer.  When I work down there on occasion, I frequently stop by Sportsman's Warehouse just for kicks.   They had powder and brass that I wanted when no one else did.  But that was several years ago.
  24. Here's an appropriate test for you.  Pronounce "Maryland".     Now, pronounce "Maryville".     How did you do?
