  1.   Really?  10 laws?
  2. Meh.  I'm gonna keep watching.  I don't usually like documentaries, but this one is pretty good
  3. If you're not going heavier than 62 grain, I wouldn't go with a faster twist than 1:9.  That said, I've shot lightweight (50 gr) varmint bullets through a 1:9 20" barrel and they spun apart in the air.  That won't happen with FMJs or most hollowpoints, but it's a possibility.     Were I going to use it as a varmint rifle and rarely go over 55 grains, I'd go with the 1:12.
  4. What part of Georgia?
  5.   Well, here ya go.  It's only one Saturday morning per month and only $15.  http://orsaidpa.com/   I know what you mean, though.  I haven't actually been there for several years.  Looks like they've done some work to the range.
  6.   The only time I've actually NEEDED one was when forming cases.  Sometimes the shoulder may not set back far enough or the neck may be too thick.  Otherwise, when reloading factory brass, a full-length resize takes care of it.
  7. Yes. The truing tool will be cheaper than a gunsmith or machinist. I have one. It's also useful if the barrel nut won't line up without too much torque.
  8. Oops. I guess my digital situational awareness needs honing.
  9. I just want to know where to discuss zombies now. Speaking of, guess what comes on tv tonight!
  10. That's a nice collection of 99s.
  11.   Bummer.  When I work down there on occasion, I frequently stop by Sportsman's Warehouse just for kicks.   They had powder and brass that I wanted when no one else did.  But that was several years ago.
  12. Here's an appropriate test for you.  Pronounce "Maryland".     Now, pronounce "Maryville".     How did you do?
  13. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LHpdgHTINik
  14. Have you checked Sportsman's Warehouse in Chatt? They have a better selection than anywhere in Knoxville.
  15. I'm glad for that perception, however erroneous it may be. Helps keep the urban riffraff and northern interlopers away. Edited to remove unnecessary snark.
  16. Wonder how those will feed with that wide tip? I loaded some lightweight soft tip round nose bullets in .300 BLK and they wouldn't feed at all.
  17. Nor do I. Perhaps an explanation beyond a picture?
  18. Haven't stopped in yet, but I want to. Largest hiking/camping store in Knoxville so far. I don't count bass pro. They chose to locate in Sevier county and I can't stand that place. I'll have to stop in and try to catch some closeouts. I only buy clothing at closeout prices or really good sales.
  19. If you can't clean it right away after shooting corrosive, a good dousing with Whiskey Delta-40 will keep the rust away until you can get to it. Don't fear the -40. Never had a problem with corrosive ammo when I use it. Then I clean with hot soapy water.
  20. These would not require tools. Complete upper and lower. Just plug and play. And add a rear sight. However, if you do happen to want to piece it together, I have the tools. I'm pretty particular about loaning tools, but I might make an exception. :) Or better yet, we could get together and assemble it. I've done several and haven't blown myself or anyone else up, yet.
  21. I'd like an A1 upper. Too bad the only ones I can find are made of gold. At least that's how they're priced. Even the used ones.
  22. I've never had a optic on my own AR.  I put one on my wife's, but that's her preference.  Having only used a red dot a very limited amount, I can't comment on speed comparison, but accuracy-wise, they're as good as, or maybe better than, a red dot.  Some people (not me) can shoot irons out to 1000 yards as well as a scope.
  23. Like I said...   http://bearingarms.com/swatter-responsible-raid-left-police-chief-shot-arrested-oklahoma/?utm_source=gpfbp&utm_medium=fbpage&utm_campaign=gpupdate
  24.   Here's a $15 one from PSA.   http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/ar-15-05/lower-parts/ar15-hammer.html
  25. Not the disconnector, possibly the hammer.  Or it COULD be the hammer and/or trigger pin holes drilled slightly off.  That would be a worst case scenario.
