You should have one takedown spring and detent for each takedown pin. There is also one spring and detent for the safety selector. If you got those covered you're fine. Is love to come across an lpk with extras from time to time!!!!!!

I used to have an M9 and this is exactly why I got rid of it. I could hardly holster the damn thing without the slide falling off. Then I switched over to a Glock but it melted while in my glovebox one day. I had a 1911 after that but it was only really good for showing off the grill with my buddies. I have since given up on firearms in the hope that technology will one day fill this void. I need the perfect pistol that can satsify every moronic objection made by every gun guru in a gun shop. Until such time I will continue to perfect the bo staff. I suggest you fellas do the same.

I'm glad to hear this. Cause even the middy upper with out the handguard I ordered cost me some coin. Especially after you add in the BCM bolt carrier group and charging handle.

I have gotten hit with the AR bug pretty bad lately. I put my first order in to BCM last Sunday for their cheapest upper assembly. So far I am amazed by this company. I got a personal phone call Monday morning to let me know they had my order in front of them and just wanted to verify the shipping address. I received the order on Wednesday and it was packed with free stuff. I hope it shoots half as well as the service. Just wanted to share a story of a company that is doing some pretty impressive things right now.

I bought a cheap AR last year to get into the platform. I was going to tinker with it and build it up as I discovered the platform. It sat for a year and I never shot it. I sold it after a year so it would get some use. A couple of months go by and I start poking around on another forum and wind up reading alot more about AR's and doing more research before hand. Long story short I got back into them big time over the past two months. I ordered a kit from Palmetto State and built one myself. Great rifle. Has functioned flawlessly so far and wound up being a great way to get into the platform. I wish I had done it that way the first time around. The only downside is that now I'm sitting on two more strippled lowers mulling over how I want to build them up next and how in the world I'm going to pay for them as I do! It really is addictive.

I don't think I would flip out on the guy or demand some form of compensation. After you complete the process and the suppressor is yours I would very calmly tell him that you have lost confidence in his ability to make good, ethical decisions and you will be taking your business elsewhere from here on out. If you have been doing business with this man for 15 years this will speak more to him than demanding a discount or causing a scene will. Also, in instances like these I do think it is kind of important to tell the members here where it was.

Interesting. I carry to and from work everyday but I can't carry at work. I may be in 6 or 7 different facilities daily and some places are fairly restrictive. I have been looking around for a more secure way to store my gun while I'm working.
