I have spent two months in Central America, which pretty much makes me a chupacabra expert. That Sir, is no chupacabra. I do feel it is the distant, not quite as lethal, cousin conecabra. I would still go to defcon 3 if I were you.

I will not miss a ND game. I follow all other college football. I keep up with my fantasy football team. I follow local wrestling still and I will watch the NCAA championships, the pan am games, and the olympics. I absolutley despise baseball.

Have you looked into jiu jitsu at all? I know there is a Rickson Gracie blackbelt that has a school in Nashville. His name is Eric Silver. If you are looking for serious unarmed self defense that is real world applicable this is what I suggest. Be careful of MMA schools, schools that only focus on more sportive jiu jitsu , or acadamies with instructors that don't really have the credentials for teaching jiu jitsu.

Alabama and Oregon look to be on a spectacular collision course for the NC game. I think that would be about as interesting a game as we will get against the Tide this year. My Irish look good. The offense needs to get a lot better from here on out, they've got a tough road in front of them the rest of the way.

Their shipping and order pulling is rough right now. If it makes you feel any better I think it goes both ways. Awhile back there was a guy that posted a thread about getting shipped 10 lowers when he only ordered 3 or something like that. It made me wonder how many other times that happened and the customer decided to just keep it for their trouble. I wonder if I started telling my wife all these orders were Christams gifts if it would make them easier to get in the house!

I think the growing pains PSA is experiencing have been well discussed in the two threads going on here. I will say that I have seen every complaint thread on the industry section on arfcom over the last six months and the legitimate complaints are always resolved to the customer's satifaction. PSA does not blast the customers with legitimate issues, and if you give them your order number and complaint they will take care of you. It's the people that show up with one post and are going off about their order that was placed 3 days ago that get blasted. If you have the ability and patience to place an order and not think about it again for around 3 weeks then PSA is perfect for you. You will be hard pressed to find a better cost to value relatiionship and their daily deals are crazy. I guess I have been lucky because I have snatched up a ton of deals from PSA over the past few months and have had no issues. Then again, I place the order, forget about it, and when it shows up on my doorstep it is like Christmas!

They're service department and shipping times right now leave alot to be desired, but I have 2 of their rifles and the quality of their product has been outstanding. They eat everything I put throught them, the fit and finish is excellent and the price was great.

Well, they just got me again! Some may have problems with their service but this order can take as long as it needs to get here cause I gotta figure out a wat to smuggle it in the house and hide it. They're selling an upper that normally goes for $400 for $280. I doubt that sale will do anything to help the already lengthy shipping times.

My wife surprised me with two tickets to the Notre Dame vs Michigan game! I'm in South Bend now and I can't wait to watch the Irish stomp the skunkbears tomorrow! And my wife is awesome!

I think they don't really believe this level of demand is sustainable into next year. As such they will not add staff to sufficiently handle the demand for their products right now. Having said that I have placed probably 10 orders with them this year and have had no problems. They all have arrived within their stated timeframe and have been of excellent quality at a great price point. By all accounts their service department leaves much to be desired though.

You'd be hard pressed to beat the Sport. I did see Palmetto State Armory running a special on their Patrol Rifle this week. Comes with an Aimpoint Pro on the rifle for $999, which basically makes the rifle $600.

Awesome vid. Last summer I was running in my neighborhood at 4:30 in the morning and I had a barred owl divebomb me just like that. It flew so close to my head on the first pass I had to hit the deck for it to miss me. It landed on a tree limb about 10 feet away from me and just started screeching at me. I looked it over almost eye to eye for about 10 minutes and then I took off again. That owl followed me for 2 miles all the way home, flying over my head and then landing on a limb nearby and squacking at me. I have an uncle who's a bird nut and I asked him about it later, he said the owl most likely had some fledglings on the ground nearby. I have to admit it scared the hell out of me at 4:30 in the morning but it was cool to see it coming in from that perspective.

Ha! It'll be awhile still before football goes all the way in. As of now they have only agreed to play 5 ACC teams every year. And they get to keep their NBC contract.
