    E-readers??

Kindle is great for books, but that's about it.

    E-readers??

+1 on the netbook idea. I'm not a fan of Dell products in particular, but I got a Dell netbook (refurbished) from the Dell Outlet (Dell.com/outlet) for a dang good price. If you Google around or follow the Dell Outlet Twitter account, they post 15-25% off Outlet coupon codes quite regularly.
  3. I'll commit. I need 25lb gone. Already down 30lb from 8 months ago. 25 to 30 more to go.. Shooting for sometime this summer.
  4. She'll find out if you sell the new one. Keep them both! Keep one stock and make one tacticool or something. So many options and configurations for the 10/22 there are countless ways to have fun with both.
  5. I did some searching around to get some info on them a while back. Didn't find any real complaints about their ammo, but several people noted that shipping charges seemed a bit high. No first hand experience, just passing along what I've read about them.
  6. Call up the memo money order company and see if they'll "verify" the MO for you. Some will do that for the recipient, some only talk to their merchants. Wouldn't hurt to call and ask. http://www.memoco.com/
  7. I bought a 1911 then got into reloading so I could afford to shoot it more. Then another 1911 showed up. It is a vicious and addictive cycle. Good luck with your purchase!
  8. I certainly didn't take your post to mean I was "wrong" to carry the P238 IWB. Just that it doesn't make sense for you. If we all carried the same caliber in the same way all the time, TGO might just get boring. Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk
  9. The 2012 model year due out in Q4 of this year is going to get an engine upgrade. They're putting the Pentastar V6 in them for 2012. More horsepower and better fuel economy than the current models. I still miss the old 4.0L straight 6. Horrible gas mileage but a proven design that lasted a long time with proper maintenance.
  10. Even though titan14 called my Toyota Tundra a "girl truck" in another thread, I have to agree on this one. I guess that disaster of a thread might work, but could it be any more disorganized?
  11. The Nemesis should work fine. I really like the P238. I used to have a Ruger LCP and, while it was a fine weapon, the sights and overall feel of the P238 is just superior. Then again, the price tag is "superior" as well.
  12. Sometimes I just feel like traveling light and need my pocket space. Light, comfortable, and I get to use my pockets for other stuff. You're right though, I generally carry it as a backup in a pocket holster and wear my 1911 IWB. Especially in cooler weather when I have coat pockets available. Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk
  13. Good choice. I just got a P238 myself. Picked up a holster from "Shielded Holsters. " Excellent affordable holster option if you're looking. Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk
  14. My first 1911 was a Springfield GI. I still have it. It has been ultra reliable and fun just as it came outta the box. I also have a Rock Island Officer size. The finish on the Springfield was perhaps a little better than the RIA, but if I had it to do over again I would strongly consider a full size RIA as an entry level option. Heck of a bargain at the price point they go for.

    Great Danes

Worth looking there for sure. That's where my son found the cat he wanted us to adopt. I ended up driving over an hour to get this one particular cat, but it was worth it. Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk
  16. She got hers new at a local pawn shop here in LaFollette. I've never seen another pink one on the shelf at any shop i've been to. However, I have seen them on gunbroker. So I know they're out there.
  17. Its from Spike's Tactical as well. Not sure if they're on the web site or not, but give them a call and they can get one to you. It was around $10 if I recall correctly.
  18. Nice pistol! The ex has one in pink. Her's runs great on CCI Mini-mags. Invest in some good ammo and have fun!
  19. As mentioned in another thread, I recently purchased a Spike's Tactical mid-length AR. Well, along with it I ordered a 9/11/01 commemorative dust cover. Just got around to putting it on.
  20. Austins Tennessee Firearms in Oak Ridge is a forum sponsor and, if I recall correctly, have a Sunday class about once a month. Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk
  21. Now to find time to go break it in. https://picasaweb.google.com/jeffcj/SpikeSTacticalAR?authkey=Gv1sRgCMvHgsCQgNn6ew&feat=directlink
  22. Got the email today. Spike's AR on the way from Apopka, FL. With any luck it will be waiting on me at Phantom6's shop when I get down there Friday. Not that I'm excited or anything. Build/shipping time wasn't really as bad as I thought it would be.
  23. This. I recently bought some Wilson mags based on some feedback on them here. 100% reliable and well made. Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk

    Froglube

I just got some to try as well. Extremely impressed so far. The patch shown in the pic was the first frog lube patch through. Prior to that I had just finished cleaning the bore with Hoppes and running some alcohol down the bore (per the Froglube instructions). Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk
