This. The Supertuck, Comptac MTAC, and similarly designed holsters allow for ride height and cant adjustment. Seems to allow pretty good adjustment for those of us who EDC a spare tire.

They're almost exactly the same size. The only difference I could tell was the TCP seems to be just a little bit wider in the grip than the LCP. Seems a little easier to get a good grip on than the LCP (in my hands).

Glasses since age 9 for me as well. My son is even worse. He inherited his mother's poor eyesight. He has problems using a scope for some reason. Claims he can't see anything but his own reflection when looking through a scope. I'm really not sure why.. His glasses are a lot higher of a prescription than mine. Maybe that has something to do with it.

I'm seriously considering picking up one of these ZT blades just to see what the fuss is about. Seems like no one has the 0350 in stock though. The Botach Tactical link seems to indicate they have it, but that doesn't mean much with them.. Other vendors seem to be out of stock. In the meantime, I filled out the "stock check" form on botachs site. Perhaps I'll get good news from them.

The current "climate" at my workplace, combined with some situational awareness on my part seems to indicate that my current role is at risk of being "downsized" as part of a recent acquisition my employer went through. Not wanting to be left jobless, I am proactively reaching out to see if any TGO'ers have any job opportunities that might work for me. Some background.. 7 classes away from a Master's Degree in Information Systems Bachelor of Computer Science, Associates in Programming Programming experience includes RPGIV, Java, VB.NET, Perl, PHP, C++, and HTML/CSS if you want to include that. I've spent the last 3 years as a "Business Performance Analyst". Extensive data mining, data analysis, and SQL work. Very familiar with database design in MySQL and I've taken a couple of Oracle classes. Also comfortable with tools such as Microsoft SSRS and Business Objects Crystal Reports. Prior to that, I was a customer service manager for a few years. Gun store owners: If you want to become the next Internet sensation with a real-time inventory tracking and online sales.. Yeah, I can do that. Heck, I'd help customers gun shop all day long if it meant getting to enjoy my hobby while getting paid. Looking for full time work in the greater Knoxville area. I've looked at the Kershaw Scallion. I like it. Interesting looking Benchmade as well. You're right about the Tenacious. Mine hasn't seen any super tough tasks yet, but it seems to be holding up fine.

I'm sure these types of threads come up often, but hey.. We're here to talk about knives, right? I'm looking for a new folder for EDC. My current EDC is a Spyderco Tenacious. I really have no issues with it, but just looking for something to add to the rotation. Here's what I'm looking for: Purpose: EDC - Opening packages, etc.. Blade type: Combo-edge or plain edge. Price: $75 or less preferably. (Let's say $100 max.) Blade length: 3" - Legal limit (open to shorter blades perhaps..) Lock type: Not picky. Blade steel: I'm not enough of a knife person (yet) to know specifics. Something reasonable from a quality perspective. Prefer USA made, but will consider others. Other criteria: Light weight and either very thin or with a clip that rides "deep" in the pocket. I also like knives that are relatively easy and fast to deploy with one-hand. Give me some options, folks. Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

No, but we ride bicycles (or throw things at people who do). It's the TGO way... I tried playing golf once when they tried to teach us how in 7th grade PhysEd class. I dug some holes in the dirt...decided golf was probably not my game. I should try again though. It seems to be a prerequisite to working in any type of executive level role at the office.

I've had a kholster, MTAC, and just recently a bought a Shielded Holster. The MTAC has the best overall construction quality, but I'll be ordering another Shielded Holster or two for the price they go for. Kholsters are okay, but Shielded Holsters have em beat for fit and finish. I originally got the MTAC thinking I'd just order holster bodies for different guns, but for just a few more dollars I can have a completely separate holster for each.

Ruger P94 in 40S&W. Big, heavy, and 100% reliable. Sold it to fund the purchase of a more practical carry gun when I got my HCP. Kind of wish I would've kept it, but I think that about every gun I've sold.

If you're going to be hiking around with your rifle, more weight is usually not desirable. Really personal preference as far as that goes. I've been looking at the MagPul MOE handguard. Yes, they're polymer but they have sections to mount rail segments. That way you still have something besides rail to hold, but still have options to mount accessories. That said, the UTG rail will certainly work if the weight isn't a factor for you. Doesnt it also comes with rail covers for rails that are not in use?

So did I. Like you, I have the dreaded company paid cell phone and occasionally get calls at all hours. Last year while I was on vacation I spent 7 hours one day trying to get an app I support up and running again. Not the best way to relax. There's stress and rewards to be had in all types of work, for sure.

I admit it. I have a desk job. The closest I come to doing any manual labor at work is making coffee when it runs out.. I'm not lazy, but it's the nature of my job. Today I volunteered to help a coworker fix his car. Spent the entire day and part of the evening crawling around under the car turning wrenches. Satisfying work, but the muscle aches are reminding me that those who go out every day and do the tough jobs deserve major respect. I've done it myself, but it's obviously been a while. I enjoyed seeing the car repairs completed successfully more than anything I've accomplished at work in a long time. Just thought I'd share some totally irrelevant thoughts from my day.
