  1. Garufa, I'm glad that Mosinon and Peejman explained that for you. I was gonna get all "scientific" and explain it myself, but they beat me to it. Seriously ... holy moley and good grief!!! That was so far over my head that I think I sprained my brain just trying to read it ... ... Glad we got smart folks on here. Honest, I am. Just reinforces my belief that I'm too old, too dumb, and too untalented to add anything of interest, so I figured I'd just ramble a while ... ... ... ...
  2. Why, as noted earlier, chicken of course. Everything is supposed to taste like chicken. I like fried squirrel. The key is a YOUNG squirrel. Old ones do get tough, and will need a little extra TLC before frying.
  3. Got called in to the station about 1600 this afternoon. By the time I got home and checked this thread out, it was SLICK out there !!! As far as my attic is concerned ... ... ... greg, I ain't that far from you. Would you mind checking my attic? I got snow everywhere else. The back door was frozen. Windows on the truck were frozen. Heck, even my fingers and toes seemed to be frozen. Might even have snow in the attic, but NO WAY am I checking the attic tonight. Global warming?????????? Not around here!!!!! But after re-reading your post, seems YOU didn't check your attic, either. So never mind. Maybe my missus will check mine, and then I can put Jamie's plan into action if necessary. PS -- thanks for the laugh. Needed one tonight.
  4. Welcome, neighbor ... ...
  5. Understand what you're saying, but we all forget things sometimes. I seem to forget more than most. That's why I'd prefer to see the "responsibility" begin and end with the thief who stole the car ... "criminal" responsibility.
  6. Leaving keys in a car should NOT be criminal. Stealing a car ... and whatever happens thereafter, IS (or blamed-well ought to be) criminal. I've forgotten mine a few times. Heck, once I looked high and low for my "lost" keys, just to find them still hanging in the house door lock. When forgetfulness is deemed criminal, I'm probably going to the pokey. And if this is deemed "negligence," when the property owner isn't even the one who left the keys there in the first place ... ... well, it's just one more case of the innocent being blamed for someone else's wrongdoing. Just my opinion, and I'm well aware that my opinion don't count for much.
  7. David, those Christmas Tree Missiles just might be the answer to the North Ko-rean problem. Next time they want to lob a few artillery shells toward the South, maybe the South ought to send a few Yuletide Greetings across the DMZ ... ... ... or maybe not. Cruznmore, did you notice the kid on the bike do a delayed U-turn just after ignition?
  8. Yep ... ... probably still be needing clean shorts today if that'd happened to me ... ...
  9. Pretty dad-gum nice of you, David. Not selling, but still ... ... pretty dad-gum nice.
  10. Welcome back ...

  12. I went by early. Lots of folks. Small-ish show firearm-wise. And as noted above, blocked aisles every two feet. That being said, it was a lot better than the first show in Lebanon. Vendors I spoke with were much friendlier than that first show. Didn't buy anything, but saw a couple of nice handguns that were priced reasonably, and several that were, in my opinion, priced to "dicker" on. At least I hope that's why they were priced that way. One vendor had his stuff priced "out the door," and he also had a couple that were reasonable. I only drove about 20 minutes, and after the show, stopped by a couple of gun shops in Lebanon, and checked out the new indoor range while I was there. Took the better half, and after the rounds, stopped by Cracker Barrel. Made for an enjoyable day.
