Agreed with OP. I can hear the dialogue in the conclave. "Our church is really in the can! Somebody has got to be visible 24/7 as truly pious, humble, selfless, and 100% concerned with the less fortunate of the world." All who can do this, step forward. I envision the apparently very humble, servant-oriented South American cardinal (and maybe others) taking one step forward while most wished in earnest that could creep back out of sight. I don't think this vote was a struggle for them. They had found the man that could do the job that very, very few would want. This papacy had to be different.

You've gotten some great advice. I might put it like this: When I was a kid, I overheard a boat owner trying to get a car dealer to say that a certain mini-van in the showroom would pull his boat. The owner of the dealership asked how much the boat weighed and then got a kind of pained look. "Yes, it will pull it; that won't be a problem. Now.... stopping it..... that's another story." Yes, you can grow it, and it will cover the sight line, but it has been known to grow through all kinds of barriers (including steel drums sunk in the ground). Good luck!

^^ double like.   dulling the blades often comes from the lower blade settings used on zyosia.  you suck up a lot of dirt/sand/abrasives into the mix when you are that low.   semi-regular dethatching can be necessary with zoysia - depending on your conditions.  I don't think it's a big deal, and a nice, flat yard with healthy zoysia is like having a major-league outfield for your backyard.  amazing.   ... and no matter what anyone tells you, you do not have to bag zoysia clippings.  If they fall back into contact with dirt, they will compost!     Patton, can large patch be pre-emptively managed by making sure your drainiage (and watering times - morning! morning!! not evening!!) is sorted out?
