1. In "Jack Reacher" Head and shoulders above.... He makes the movie for me.
2. Ha!  I was ready to step in and recommend a Bosch or DeWalt...   oh well.   We are using a Netgear WNDR 3700 v3... bought it at Walmart last year.  It has been pretty good.
3. Yes, and yes.  sorry.  ... and one the one closer to Henderson still runs the pit... I can't tell whether the one down at the crossroads still runs a wood pit or not.   We ate that BBQ once a week all summer long .. probably for 2 decades.  Until I went to college in East TN, I didn't know it was possible to make bad BBQ.  :)
4.      Latham's probably does not have the best pulled-pork BBQ in the city, BUT you will not find a better place to consume meats of all kinds. That place is a meat-lover's paradise.        There is a little place just on the edge of town in Humbolt... as you are headed north out of town.  I can't remember the name of it, but it has great BBQ and even better company.       I don't know if it is still there, but there used to be a little pit down by Martha White Flower way in near downtown.  Amazing.  Someone can chime in and remember the name of the place - though I don't think it is "Sit down" and eat.        If you make it down to south of Henderson to Scott's Hill, there are two great BBQ pits within a mile of each other... that could be the best BBQ in the area.. but you'd have to be passing by to make it worth it.
5. I asked a walmart associate at my walmart if they were randomizing their ammo stocking... She was not a sporting goods regular and had no idea what I was talking about. Oh well. On a bright note: federal .223, 55gr 100rds for $38.97 (tax included) I haven't seen federal 55gr in a local store for under 40c in a long time.
6.
I see lots of good suggestions here but one significant thing missing.... a fire extinguisher.
I agree, but reality is harsh. I have seen more than my share of car fires. I have never seen a reasonable size fire extinguisher (or 3) do anything to stop a car fire. It might, might buy you a pathway to an injured person,... And that is worth having it.
7. The reason you cannot yell "fire" in a crowded theater is because it puts others in immediate threat of serious bodily injury or death.  Mentally competent adults know this, so comitting the afformentioned act would be a willful act with intent to harm.     The act of acquiring and owning any type of firearm is in no way - no way equivalent to that.  ever.
8. They make a public street a gun-free-zone?  Really??  How in the name of sanity is that possible?
9. Water - with it's high specific heat - is your "heat conductor"... your heat just happens to be ~55-60deg F.   You are just insulating from the outside cold/wind.
10.
Spigott covers!! There's still time!!! Go to Lowe's. 11. In 2 hours here, it went from 51deg to 33deg.  wow.

13. we have been a gluten free/dairy free house for about 3 years, so we never have milk or bread in the house. :). makes is chuckle when the shelves go bare. It is a good excuse to lick up a couple more small propane cylinders... and batteries!

Glock 42

If you took some time and considered my opinion over a hot cup of coffee, you would end up with a cold cup of coffee...so.   I don't begrudge the .380 its place in the grand scheme of things... just this iteration of a .380 "pseudo-micro".   and again, I still think it will sell. In my book: A striker-fired, single-action, no-external safety handgun is not what I would call a "pocket gun".   -For the sake of Femoral Arteries and future children everywhere...at the very least, use a kydex trigger guard built into the pocket holster!     **and don't carry anything else in the pocket with your chosen mouse gun.

Glock 42

hmmm... the g42 doesn't even look that small to me.   Small grip, but slide height and length still seem large-ish.  ie.. looks large in all the wrong places.   There is a slew of other handguns that fill the niche that the G42 seems to miss.  It will still sell.
16. It is already illegal for a private individual to "traffic" with intent to sell across state lines.  -though... I do not believe it is a specific (in name) federal crime.
17. Ha!  - responded in your thread and pm'd you.     THIS is one more reason why TGO is fantastic.   Kudos Dave and Mods.
18. So.... I like small game, I have fond memories of quail and rabbit hunting in West TN growing up.  -this thread prompted me to start:   http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/74328-anyone-up-for-coyote-hunting-in-middle-tn/
19.      I am not one to kill for sport, but since another thread has reminded/enlightened me to the "situation" between some of my favorite small game (quail, pheasant, rabbit) and coyote, I find myself wanting to help the cause of the small game in TN.  ie. It's no longer for sport; me killing coyotes now has a game-management purpose.   1) I've never hunted coyote before. 2) I'd like to hunt in a place that has a population control problem... ie farm, etc - where the landowner appreciates the effort.     Any ideas?  I'm open most weekends.  :)
20. hmm...  I'll have to take a look.  Shoot me your address, and I'll come inspect the bird.   :)     on the other hand, maybe a few thousand more could "escape" some cages in TN - along with some quail.  .. Wouldn't bother me a bit.

Remington R-51

It is +p rated... so  I am guessing it is a pretty strong alloy - hopefully designed to minimize flex.  (IIRC, flex is what kills an aluminum alloy.)
