What brand ammo were you using?

To me it sounds like the case wasn’t sized enough and they are jamming in the chamber. Pull the barrel and drop the round that doesn’t feed in and see if it drops flush into the chamber. My most recent 1911 has a tighter chamber than the rest of them and I would occasionally get the same jam. I had to lower my sizing die down a little bit further to get them to chamber 100%. This is all based on that I’m assuming your shooting reloads.

I think your problem is magazine related, not a problem with the gun. Did you try a different magazine? do the stock magazines have a dimple on the top of the follower?

I haven’t been in there in at least a year. Unless something has changed I wouldn’t go out of my way to go back.

The third time when you pulled the slide back the round stayed in the chamber? Was the round difficult to push out, as in stuck in the chamber, or did a light push get it out? it sounds like the rounds might not be chambering fully keeping the gun out of battery, or maybe the round is sliding up forward of the extractor and not going into battery.

It’s nice to know the direction of the station, so you can point your antenna in the right direction for the best reception on the channels you are most interested in.

We finally got fed up with Comcast and cut the TV subscription and just kept the internet. I don’t know How far you are from the broadcast stations, but I put an antenna in the attic and hooked it into my cable for the whole house. We can bring in about 30 decent stations including NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX, ME, PBS and some I’ve never heard of, we really don’t miss having 220 channels.
