Their is a good possibility that after we secure a site, we will open the membership rolls to secure more funding. Get in on the bottom floor so to speak. It is looking like 40% will drop out, the rest of us are building a new range.

Gallatin Gun will host a 2-Gun Match October 8th. Pistol/shotgun with a pistol only option. 6 stages, 90 pistol, 50 shotgun. $20 match fee for this match. Bring at least 5 slugs for the shotgun. Set up starts at 7:00,match starts at 9:30. Only 2 matches left on the schedule to be shot at the Gallatin Steam Plant Range. The November 12th match will be a 120 round Action Pistol match. At least 6 stages.

The September match will be the IDPA classifier. 90 rounds to complete. Bring extra. Normal match fees of $10 for club members, $15 for non-members. Start time is 9:00AM. Notice: IDPA membership is required after your first match. October match will be a two gun match, pistol/shotgun. It will have a pistol only option.

The reason for this match, Pro-Am comming up at Rockcastle. Guess who is shooting in it.

We will use IMG RULES for this match. Plan on using the woods bay we created last month (stage 8) for the rifle steel. About 60 yards shooting at the MGM rifle poppers. Targets will be uspsa metric for pistol and the half size for rifle paper. Stage 2 is all pistol (32 rounds) with paper, 10 steel and a swinger. Stage 6 is all rifle. 6 paper and 6 rifle poppers. The other 4 is pistol/rifle using full size targets, half size targets, clays and steel. Heavy metal welcome, (Mark) Single shot scoring will apply. Stages 1 and 4 are 40 round stages, 20 per gun. Stages will be pistol only friendly. Only 5 stages for one gun match.

Gallatin Gun Club will host a 2-gun match on August 13th. You may shoot it as a true 2-gun match or pistol only. 6 stages, 102 pistol and 90 rifle. Special match fee is $15 for members, $20 for non-members. Set up will start after 4:00PM Friday afternoon and back at 7:00 AM Saturday morning. Start time will be 9:30.

All stages are setup. The only thing needed is cardboard targets stapled up and checked. I have made a few minor changes, added some no shoots and a few more rifle targets.

I will be handling the 3 gun match this Saturday at the Dickson range while Michael is off on his tour at CZ. We will have 6 stages. 54 pistol, 68 rifle and 36 birdshot. Tact optics, tact iron and open. I will start set up Friday, Saturday start time by 9:00, shooter meeting at 8:45.

Match fees are $10 for club members and $15 for non-members. Set up at 7:00, start at 9:00. We ask that returning shooters join IDPA after your first match. Normal match fees of $10 for club members and $15 for non-members. A pistol only option will be allowed for the whole match. Classes will be stock, tactical and open. 3 gun rigs allowed. Time plus scoring. My home repair project is finished, so I will be back at the range. Robert
