  1. Go with what you would carry every day. just showing a gun to most thugs will make them stop. If they stop you can draw a bead on their head. And practice, practice, practice.
  2. IDPA and USPSA's websites have the big matches posted, for local stuff go to the club websites. I post regular weekend stuff on the calendar in here.
  3. OK, here is what I save reloading .40s&w for competition. It cost me $127. per thousand to reload 180gr. JHP .40 using range brass. The equal in Speer buying in bulk in $289. A savings of $162 per thousand. I shoot about 6 thousand per year. that equals $972. in savings. I have done this for about 5 years, that is $4860. That is a nice chunk of change.
  4. It's hard to beat an old fashion analog micrometer.
  5. I had my first KB in my G-35 after 20,000 rounds using my own reloads, I had a weak case make it through and blow out at the 6 o'clock, the case had about 5 reloads on it, no damage to the gun however it did blow the mag out. I check my cases alittle closer now.
  6. Mike, I have not been to the match in over a year, I talk with Randy when I see him is the only reason I know what I do. Last time I shot, we figured the scores at the end.

  12. Just a thought, I never see a thug carring a holstered gun, and not in a good IWB holster. I would just assume that someone carring a holstered gun on the hip was good to go.
