  8. dunndw; No complaining about the drive. I will be leaving Hermitage at 6:00AM so I can setup the stages. I will be using the IDPA classifications to score the match. Standard sights on the shotguns. Red dot or scope on your rifle will score you in ESP, iron sights will score you in SSP. CDP guns will be allowed to run 10 RD. mags. for scoring in ESP. If you want to run a Heavy metal setup bring a.308 or 30-06 rifle, 5-7 round pump shotgun and 8 round.45 pistol. Scored as CDP. I have round and mags restrictions on the woods walk. 4 10 round mags max on body for pistol and 30 round max for rifle. speed reloads ok. 8 shotgun slugs required on woods walk. High cap. "standard factory" may be run on all other stages in ESP. Please limit pistols to approved IDPA or USPSA production only. Dropped offset holsters ok. No USPSA speed holsters please. I have some 3-gun rules posted on Gallatin Guns website, I will be using these. Bring your setup, we will put in some class.
  9. These owners do not know the current law and most likely don't care. Be warned if you get the law called on you, the officer may not know the law either. Just the hazzards of having 20,000 gun laws. Do as I do, don't ask don't tell or don't show. Robert
  10. I have shot well over 20,000 rounds thru my glocks, only one kaboom, case seperation on an old reloaded .40 brass. no AD's. Most people that get shot by their glocks have tried to catch it after dropping it and caught the trigger. You are better off to let it hit the floor and then pick it up. I know Buford Tune, take him with a grain of salt.
  11. I plan on having it on 10/17 with a side match. Setup for the Tennessee state USPSA match has caused access problems to the bays we use. I am very sorry for any problems caused. Robert
  12. Hermitage-Donelson area. I live off Old Hickory Blvd. and I-40. Their are several fine apts. in this area.
  13. TJ Conevera has Berry's Bullets in stock. I just recevied 1k of the 124gr platedDS in 3 days for $77 shipping inculded.
  14. I'M LOOKING FOR A 5 SHOT CHIEFS SPECIAL IN .50AE
  15. Movement will be at a min. We will limit it to short and sweet with one or two higher round count stages with a max of 10yds movement. Set up for first time shooters in this sport.
  16. I'll be their as a safety officer and to shoot the match.
  17. Thanks for picking them up for me, I'll be over later to get them.....................
  18. Run a mag. across those. They are bass plated steel. Do not try to reload them, you will set off a primer trying to push a primer into the pocket. They are also hard on your resizeing dies. trust me on this, toss them.
  19. I use mothers cleaner/wax. works great
  20. I run who evers 15w40 is on sale in my 89 F-250 Ford Diesel with a can of STP and Valvoline 10w30 high mileage in my car. I have 400,000 miles on the truck and 110,000 on my 2005 chevy.
  21. Because we have so many new reloaders out their, Please be aware that S&B 9mm brass is brass plated steel. The stuff is hell on your dies and almost imposable to push a primer into. Just run a magnet thru you bucket of brass and they will stick. I do not reload this stuff.
  22. Just a note, A local councilman in Nashville made a statement that He doesnot understand why we need to carry in parks, their is no crime in parks.
  23. I don't know man. I have loaded 10,000 rounds of 9mm on my loadmaster. The only loose rounds I had were from cracked brass. I would mic. a handfull of bullets and make sure they are at least .355. At the powder station, use the least amount of belling, just enought to start the bullet. I also use a final sizing die in station 5 that puts a taper crimp on the round. The seating die just removed the bell.
  24. Hey guys; I just bought 2 10x10 pop-ups to use at the range. we can have cover at every bay now. looking at buying some peskie poppers for rifle, Gary likes them.
