  1. I have used a Lee Loadmaster for 12 years. Loaded 50,000 rounds on them. They are a bit troublesome at first. However I have figured out their quirks and now they are now trouble free. I have 2 loadmasters, one single stage and a Load-all.
  2. Henry County Gun Club. The range is flat and should be able to accommodate you. Most wheel chair shooters mount their holster on the wheel chair and holster between targets. I have seen some very nice all terrain wheel chairs, some with tracks.
  3. All reshoots are $20.
  4. You are correct oh great one. Steel on some stages will have an option to be engaged with pistol, however the shotgun will be required to be used on at least one target. The pistol only option is their if you chose for all the stages only, the 2" steel may be a bit tough with pistol. :stunned:
  5. Gallatin Gun Club will host a Shotgun/pistol match this Saturday October 10th. 5 stages, 40 shot, 4 slugs and 70 pistol min. Bring extra. Their will be some loner shotguns for those that do not have one. Bring some Federal Top Gun in a 7.5 shot size or Remington Gun Club if you intend to borrow a shotgun. We will following IMG rules and scoring. Tactical class will have 8+1 in the shotgun at start, Pistols allowed to use high cap. magazines up to 140mm in length. Open is, well, open. Magazine feed shotguns or X-rail, comps. on pistols and red dot on pistols and shotguns. One A zone or -0 on any paper or two hits will neutralize the target in any class.  The stages can be shot with pistol only, if elected to do so, all stages must be shot pistol only.  Bring extra magazines and about 200 rounds. Set up starts at 7:00 with match start around 9:30.  Match fee for this match will be $15 for club members and $20 for non-members.
  6. Gallatin gun will host their regular IDPA match on Sept 12th. 4 stages requiring 60 rounds. Set up at 7:00, match start at 9:00.
  7. 1st class is full. Taking names for the waiting list and next class to be determined.
  8. I see you are nipping on Justin's heals.   Thanks
  9. Score have been mailed out
  10. I am Starting my intro to IDPA shooting Sept 12th at the Gallatin Gun Club. The brave new shooters that have shown up have shown a real lack of knowledge of the basics. They want to compete, but lack the training. I intend to give the folks that show up what they need to play the IDPA game. That will teach them gun handling skills and the confidence they need to grow their skill set to take the more advanced classed offered by Randy and others in this forum.
  11. I'll be their early with the weed eater, the house is all grown in.
  12. 1 18 round stage, 1 13 round stage , 2 12 round stages and 1 16 round stage.  your mileage may vary.
  13. I   I have some special Gamer loads that will make a nice flash out of that gun.
  14. At this time the gate is always open. Lots of construction going on.
  15. I am starting a list for Sept. 12 intro to IDPA shooting class. We will start at 8:00AM and try to finish by 4:00PM. Short lunch break around noon, something like subway sandwiches. Around 2 hours in class room and rest of the day on the range. Bring around 300 rounds at a min. 500 to make sure.    I will take the first 10 for the class and start a ready list in case someone backs out. Send me a PM, text or e-mail. I will do other classes as needed.   Class fee is $80 due day of class.   Robert Standley 615-417-2747 robert.standley08@comcast.net
  16. The August 8th IDPA match at Gallatin Gun Club will be Back Up Gun friendly match. This will be a good match to bring out your BUGs and shoot them in competition. You may bring any class gun and shoot the match, however some stages will have 6 round magazine limits. Bring about 75 rounds. The new BUG rules do allow drawing from holster and 3 extra magazines carried on the hip. Max barrel length is 3.60 inches. Again, the other classes, CCP, CDP, SSP, ESP, REV and NFC will be permitted and scored in their own division. Set up is at 7:00, match start around 9:00.
  17. Looking at Sept. 12th date at Gallatin Gun Club. Run in conjunction with the regular IDPA match. Class would start at 8:00AM at the club house then move to the already in progress match at one of the open bays for drills then run the stages after regular bunch is finished. Each student will run each stage with COF stage breakdown before and after each run through.    I will need someone to run the regular match for me that day. I will supply the COF's for the match.
  18. I am looking into having an intro to IDPA shooting class. Class would cover basics the new competition shooter needs to know. We would start with class time to cover handgun knowledge and equipment needs. Head to the range for proper holster draw and target engagement. Movement, use of cover, reloads and shooting on the move.  Lots of one on one training. Class size would be limited to 10. Location in middle Tennessee area.  I would be willing to travel to other areas of the state. Round count would be 200-300 rounds, fee in the $80-$100 for 8 hour class. Looking for feed back only at this time.   Feed back is good, taking names for class. PM me.
  19. Make sure you get with one of us that run the show at the range. We can walk you through the course. Basics in USPSA is we give you a group of targets and an area to engage them from. It is up to the shooter on how to engage them. A Seasoned shooter can show you how it is done. On standards drills, engagement is a bit easier. Don't worry, we will let you watch someone first.   Robert
  20. MCTS will be hosting a USPSA match this weekend, July 25th and 26th at the Dickson Range on Coon Creek Rd. 150 rounds min. We will be using Classic and Metric targets this match. No classifier stage this match. set up starts at 6:30. Hope to be ready by 9:00.
  21.  This poor old guy was pushing it Saturday, I am so glad I had folks helping out after the match. The heat was killing me. Thanks for the help guys.
  22. Any one that paid for rifle and left early, just remind me next match and I will credit you that amount to the next match you attend.
  23. And I was so looking forward to gangster rifle shooting.
  24. I found them, Scores are mailed out.
  25. Scores will be delayed, I am missing 9 score sheets. I will run to the range on Sunday and see if I can find them.
