  4. A fellow I know was going to give a M1 carbine to his Nephew ( a kid he has a low opion of). I saw it and said do you know how much it is worth. The gun is a 44 inland (no import marks) Great cartohce on the stocks (Crossed cannons in gear) What is the price range for something like this...I am thinking (600-800) dollars or am I thinking 1990's prices?   The gun is a solid unmolested 95%   Bob

  7. I have the Last clock also, My family bought it in the 1850's if the info I have is correct. The clock was to big for the Yankee foragers to steal. , one of my family treasures along with coin silver spoons from the 1780's that they buried in the back yard.   BoB

  10. Saturday the man who ownes the farm up the hill from me wants to trade a 600 lbs heffer for a Glock 17, mags and ammo.......For you country boys... you know cows trade as easy as Guns.  :rofl:
  11. I I Know you have traded things in the past but this has to be one of the stranger trades I've Made. The trade was for an Eagle arms AR-15 (Clinton Ban GUN) , four mags and 200 round of PMC .223....... I got a 2year old  Bred Herford Cow ( she is due in two months) and 4 New Load range tires for one of my farm trailers.     Whats your strange trade?

  18. I just picked up a 91/59 ....Bubba had burnt tigerstripes in the stock. metal nice but the @hole did not clean it ...let you know how bad bore is after I clean it.   bob

Start them off with .22 then work your way up .....Had a little 90 Lbs  Girl shooting my ( 6.5 lbs ) .404 Jeffery last week 5 shots ...wants to come back and shoot some more ....next time revolvers. We will start with .22 and work our way up.   Safty glass, hearing protection , finger off trigger, muzzle in safe direction...and so on.   Bob
