I completely agree. I have a new toy that I'm itching to try out as well. How does the grip feel in the hand? It looks like rather aggressive texturing. Like it might be a bit abrasive. Daniel

I handled one at Frontier Firearms yesterday afternoon. Compared to the other sigs there seems to be a real lack of quality control. One of the mags would barely activate the slide lock. It was like the follower was too large to make it to the top of the mag. The overall quality felt quiet a bit less than the traditional sigs. I wasn't impressed by it. It seems like QA is not a general practice for way too many guns these days. I've ready many stories of "it runs great after a trip back to the factory". There's really no excuse for a gun to not leave the factory working perfectly. Daniel

You Bastards and Your High and Mighty H&K Handguns

The other day I had the chance to shoot 4 H&K. I have to say they were all great. It really confirmed my decision to buy the p2000sk for carry. I shot a p30, p2000sk (357sig&40), usp 45, and hk45. the p30 and hk45 felt like an extension of the hand and shot incredibly well. There is definitely a ergonomics difference between the new style and the USP. I now want 4 H&Ks and hardly have the money for one. Daniel -

I'm just north of Knoxville right on the county line. I Just turned 21 this month and have my carry permit on the way. Right now i've got a few 22 pistols and a CZ 82. Also a few 22 rifles. I found my way here looking for someone local with the gun i'm wanting to buy. I'm hoping to find one to shoot (H&K p2000sk not decided on 9 or .40 yet). Daniel
