I can imagine... I always knew salt water was rough on an engine :) "Welcome to Tennessee...the patron State of shooting stuff"

Brentwood is a ghost town. Very few cars, roads are worse than they were a few weeks ago. Not feeding the drama, just observing what I see. The Tundra doesn't know the difference between ice, snow, or asphalt :) "Welcome to Tennessee...the patron State of shooting stuff"

556 Cans...Bang For Your Buck?
gr8smiles replied to CommsNBombs's topic in National Firearms Act (NFA) Regulated
For what it's worth, suppressors are pretty much a lifetime purchase. I would suggest waiting a few months and getting the money to buy the best one vs. settling for a lesser model. I plan on shooting my 7.62 on my LWRC SBR 5.56 all the time. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
That seems to be a common sickness around here:) [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106][emoji106][emoji106][emoji631][emoji631][emoji631][emoji631][emoji631][emoji631][emoji379][emoji379][emoji379][emoji379][emoji379] "Welcome to Tennessee...the patron State of shooting stuff"

Can you post a pic of the SW and give us full serial number? There is nothing to be gained from hiding it:) Most likely it is a pre-model 10,11, or 45 The S n-frame guns did not go that high "Welcome to Tennessee...the patron State of shooting stuff"

You can't go wrong with Silencerco. I have the sparrow, spectre 2, osprey 45, octane 9, and just got the stamp back for the saker 7.62. They have all performed stellar and I'm very impressed with their customer service and promoting the industry. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
Thanks for that. Didn't know, and my hands are rather important for my career...just sayin:) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I bought a pair of welder's gloves from Co-op . I'm sure Tractor Supply would have them. I mainly use them to make sure the can stays tight. My 5.56 gets wicked hot, even glows after a few mag dumps [emoji91][emoji91][emoji91] "Welcome to Tennessee...the patron State of shooting stuff"

Lol... They don't all have to be old. That's the best part about guns, the old ones that we love don't mind when we bring home a young one or two, or three, or four. [emoji85][emoji86][emoji87] "Welcome to Tennessee...the patron State of shooting stuff"

Don't worry. This is an SBR and I have to get a stamp. It will stay in the trust from here on out:) It did arrive at my Class III dealer today. Hopefully, I can bring her home in a few months [emoji631][emoji631][emoji631][emoji106][emoji106][emoji106][emoji109][emoji109][emoji109][emoji109][emoji41][emoji41][emoji41][emoji322][emoji322][emoji322] "Welcome to Tennessee...the patron State of shooting stuff"

I'm in Brentwood. I am in NYC until Sunday am. I can help you, but you'd have to get to the office. It may be easier to find someone local. Rick "Welcome to Tennessee...the patron State of shooting stuff"

Last year LWRC debuted their PDW at SHOT. I ordered one pretty quickly and have been waiting on them and the ATF. I wanted to do something cool with it since I had seen Modern Outfitters do some really cool stuff. The form 3 cleared today and they finished the coating process. Hope you like .....

Been buzzing around Brentwood all morning. Figured it's a good time to get bills paid, clean out a few drawers, and list some more guns to sell. This week looks to be a total wash as far as work. Oh well, I'm powerless over the weather too:) The 4wheel drive Tundra loves this stuff::)) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Was doing a little charity dental work this weekend and I met a new friend. It turns out that she is also a "CLEO", so if anyone needs her to sign off on your Form 4 applications, let me know. I'm sure she probably knows the real "CLEO" in town :):) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I've got the Tirant45, evo9, and the element and element 2 from AAC. The octane9, osprey45, ss sparrow, and the spectre 2 from silencerco. My favs in both build and noise reduction and ease of maintenance are the ones from Silencerco. Although the elements are awesome. I have a saker 7.62 waiting on a stamp now. I have others, but these are my favs. One word of caution, go ahead and buy a good quality 22 rim fire can. Spectre 2, sparrow, or elements are my choices. They are easy to clean. Rim fire is notoriously dirty and will need to be cleaned. The ones I mentioned are stainless and can be dipped, blasted, or tumbled. That's another thread. Silencerco has killer customer service and is a solid company. They do a lot of PR for the NFA industry. I'll keep buying cans from them. The octane9 is my goto 9mm can right now. Did you watch the President last night? Nuff said...... "Welcome to Tennessee...the patron State of shooting stuff"

Went to the 11:00 pm IMAX at Cool Springs. Thought the film was fabulous. I had read the book and didn't know how they were going to deal with his loss. I just sobbed and sat there. Whole theater quietly exited. Could have heard a pin drop. Everyone in the Congress and the White House should be mandated to watch this to remind them of the evil and savagery that we face with the 'extremists' and their ilk. This film should sweep the Oscars. Bravo!!!!! "Welcome to Tennessee...the patron State of shooting stuff"

I have 8 22 suppressors. Hands down to my ears and clean ability are the Silencerco Spectre and Sparrow. Followed by the AAC elements 1 and 2. Would not buy another Mite or Liberty essence. My other two are integral. You wait too long to chance an unknown. These are lifetime purchases for most of us. "Welcome to Tennessee...the patron State of shooting stuff"

I have the Nighthawk conversion unit with the threaded barrel and it pretty much rocks! You get the feel of the Nighthawk, the great trigger, and the suppression all in one! Love mine Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Shooting any ammo other than subsonic 147 or 158 grain through a suppressed 9mm is not hearing safe, regardless of the gun or suppressor. When shooting 9 or 45 suppressed, most of the noise is from the impact. A 22 into a body of water sounds like a small rock, hardly noticeable. A 9mm sounds pretty loud, like a firecracker when it hits water. A 45 sounds like firework mortar when it hits water. The same can be said for hitting a tree, steel, etc. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
