A true comedic genius. Back when you didn't have to be vulgar to be funny

I suppose it's possible that he notified the carrier and the employee he dealt was unaware of the policy or chose to ignore it, and falsified the documentation and shipped it anyway. In that case, its possible he might not be found at fault while the employee would be terminated and possibly criminally charged. That's the only loophole I can think of.

My cousins were unofficial missionaries in Bishkek Kyrgyzstan for 6-8 years about a decade ago. That's even further from Pakistan than where these 2 went. Even in the relative safety of a big city and speaking Russian reasonably fluently, there were occasional issues. There were places they could go, and places they knew to stay away from. They were raising a family and the rise of the Islamic state was one of the reasons they left.

Don't pity the dead, their suffering is over. Pity those left behind. I'd presume most people who've lived any length of adult life have known others who died before their time. I lost 2 high school friends because they were young, arrogant, and made poor decisions. I was sad when they died, but I didn't pity them. I pity their families who have holes their lives. I pity the friends who witnessed their demise and have to live with those memories.

I don't have vinyl, but I still buy CD's. I probably have several hundred by now. The only reason I download music is when a CD isn't available. The CD wallet that lives in my car still holds way more music than my iPod.

We used to mix TSP and Clorox (don't recall the ratio) and scrub with a brush. Awesome leg and shoulder workout. I'll never have another house with white trim. Spraying soffets with the pressure washer will get water in the attic. Do it on a hot day so it'll dry out fairly quickly.

A former coworker was a roadie for Aerosmith, Nugent, and the Stones in the 70's. He's got some interesting stories.

That sign just makes the sheeple feel better, it means nothing legally. And yes, the presence of drugs has no bearing. Hospitals, drug stores, doctors offices, etc. all have to be legally posted.

It serves the purpose and cost 1/4 of what you initially looked at. While you really like the expensive one (which is really cool) you didn't buy it.

A bad day at the office for sure. -
Hey @Erik88 ... want to know how consumer driven medical care will drive costs down? Here's a perfect example. And I don't mean that as a barb in any way, it's just a great illustration. Sorry for the thread-jack. Please resume your regularly scheduled tool box talk.

Any chance you could make the "sign out" button and the "mark all read" button not right next to one another on the mobile skin?

My parents have one of those driveway alert systems. Dad likes it, I think mostly because it's louder than the doorbell so he can hear it. Mom thinks it's annoying when the deer set it off in the middle of the night and it wakes her up.

Call a local machine or tool and die shop. They'll have a source.

While the Nashville area certainly has the most people, there's a fair number of us here in East TN. I'm not aware of places to sell online other than what you listed.

Honey bees aren't attracted to the meat. They might show interest if the bait is sweet and/or the trap is bright red or yellow, like flowers. From that video, I put a little dish soap in the ant trap above my hummingbird feeder. I've noticed wasps will feed and then go drink from the water bowl. Maybe this will get them.

Yep. I found a nest in my front yard at the base of a cherry tree while mowing. Two of the got me before I got away. That night I got the nest with wasp spray... just filled the exist with foam so they couldn't go in or out. I didn't use gas because it was at the base of the tree, but the tree died anyway.

your own private gun range in city limits?
peejman replied to ironsniper1's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Commercial vs residential would be my guess. I suppose he could establish an LLC, but then zoning and environmental regs might be a problem in addition to all the crap that goes with owning your own business. -

Most cities prohibit the discharge of a firearm anywhere, anytime. If yours contains that language, I'd say you're SOL. If it doesn't, getting a building permit will likely be your next hurdle. Being down in a hole with lead residue isn't a great idea either. -
I was thinking more tools from Lowes rather than the Snap-On truck. While shops may track tools, I highly doubt the tool OEM does on relatively inexpensive stuff. $10,000 test benches? Yep. $500 impact wrenches? I doubt it.

Tools aren't serialized and tracked. They've no way to know which tool came from where. That's why they want you to have the receipt and the box.
