  1. Any chance you could make the "sign out" button and the "mark all read" button not right next to one another on the mobile skin?
  2. I feel for their family. Maybe they were all so idealistic that they thought they could pull it off. Anyone with a shred of realism knew how bad an idea this was.
  3. My parents have one of those driveway alert systems. Dad likes it, I think mostly because it's louder than the doorbell so he can hear it. Mom thinks it's annoying when the deer set it off in the middle of the night and it wakes her up.
  4. Call a local machine or tool and die shop. They'll have a source.
  5. While the Nashville area certainly has the most people, there's a fair number of us here in East TN. I'm not aware of places to sell online other than what you listed.
  6. Honey bees aren't attracted to the meat. They might show interest if the bait is sweet and/or the trap is bright red or yellow, like flowers. From that video, I put a little dish soap in the ant trap above my hummingbird feeder. I've noticed wasps will feed and then go drink from the water bowl. Maybe this will get them.
  7. Yep. I found a nest in my front yard at the base of a cherry tree while mowing. Two of the got me before I got away. That night I got the nest with wasp spray... just filled the exist with foam so they couldn't go in or out. I didn't use gas because it was at the base of the tree, but the tree died anyway.
  8. Commercial vs residential would be my guess. I suppose he could establish an LLC, but then zoning and environmental regs might be a problem in addition to all the crap that goes with owning your own business.
  9. Most cities prohibit the discharge of a firearm anywhere, anytime. If yours contains that language, I'd say you're SOL. If it doesn't, getting a building permit will likely be your next hurdle. Being down in a hole with lead residue isn't a great idea either.
  10. I was thinking more tools from Lowes rather than the Snap-On truck. While shops may track tools, I highly doubt the tool OEM does on relatively inexpensive stuff. $10,000 test benches? Yep. $500 impact wrenches? I doubt it.
  11. Tools aren't serialized and tracked. They've no way to know which tool came from where. That's why they want you to have the receipt and the box.
  12. How would a tool manufacturer know if they were stolen? Does the warranty cover anyone other than the initial purchaser with proof thereof?
  13. All you ever wanted to know about Chicago violence. Don't let the URL scare you.... https://heyjackass.com/
  14. I have several of his as well. He does good work.
  15. And they want to go to a fully subscription based service where you don't own or install anything but a user interface. You connect to their server because that's where the software is. You have no control over what they change or when they change it.
  16. Welcome!
  17. I really like my frankenFAL. It's heavy, but heavy in the same way a BHP is heavier than a Glock. Apparently I should move the BHP further up "the list", I wasn't aware it was the issued sidearm.
  18. Good thing collusion isnt a crime anymore. Sorry, I couldn't resist.
  19. Hopefully he'll work out better than Jesse Ventura.
  20. Reminds me of this article I read not long ago.... https://www.airspacemag.com/history-of-flight/air-mail-to-baghdad-180968982/
  21. The technology exists to do that very thing today. It's not cheap, but it's there.
  22. Kia/Hyundai/Daewoo is a total knock-off company. When they did it their way, we got the masterpiece known as the Excel. It was awful and they knew it. They also knew their neighbors at Toyota made pretty good cars. So they poached a fair number of key people and adopted Toyota's quality system. It took a decade or more, but the cars got better. Once their quality wasn't bottom of the barrel, they decided they needed better styling. So they poached a few German designers and suddenly their cars started looking like Mercedes and Audis. All the safety regulations now drive the designs in the same direction, and car sales aren't real good, so no one is willing to go out on a limb style wise.
  23. I immediately think misdirection. What don't they want us to see?
