A2 Front Post Taper Pin Removal Issues (HELP)
peejman replied to Hammer285's topic in Gunsmithing & Troubleshooting
What they said... Kroll, heat, and patience. If they've been peened in place, they'll be tough to get out. -
This was after the results came back. We had several people get tested who worked in close proximity to those who were positive. They all got answers in 1-3 days.
-
I have no reason to doubt what I was told. Those folks were told to either take a week off or provide a negative test result so they could go back to work.
-
An interesting anecdote... 2 people in our office came had similar stories this morning. One friend, one family member of different coworkers. These folks decided to get tested a week or more ago. They got in line, filled out the paperwork, but ran out of time and had to leave before getting tested. They both got letters stating they tested positive and had to take this week off work because their employer also received the results.

Let us know what you think. Seems a little odd that the part number of the 3" blade is 2335 while the part number for the 3.5" blade is 2330. Several sites all show the same thing, so i guess thats correct.

They say that, but you might be pleasantly surprised. We've ordered a few things from Ireland with similar shipping times. They showed up in less than 2 weeks.

I've got a cryo that I'm not super nice to. It gets shaving sharp and holds an edge well enough for me.
-
I'm surprised too. I feel sure it would either lodge in the barrel or blow out fairly quickly.

Thats great Bersa. We just haven't had any this year, very strange. Saw the first one in months while watching a monster thunderstorm yesterday.

This thread inspired me so this is now on my short list... https://www.bladehq.com/item--Kershaw-Al-Mar-AM-3-Assisted--71075

Sorry to hear that, a bad day for sure. We've had 9 positive so far at work, with 2 sets of father/sons. Symptoms have covered the spectrum with one guy was on a ventilator for a few days. I've heard he's getting better.
-
I've got a few small Boker folders. They don't get used hard but have been perfectly serviceable.
-
Local schools here opened with a similar schedule. They made it 3 days before shutting back down.

I thought mortars were muzzle loaders and howitzers were breech loaders.

There are thousands of coffee mugs, cans, and bottles full of coins in homes. When banks try to charge people who bring bulk coins in, they quit doing it. That and credit cards means circulation has dropped drastically in the last 6 months.
-
Blount County started back this week on a rotating schedule. Most schools have more and longer breaks now, so the school year is spread out a little longer, but it's the same 180 days.

Because the party knows what's best....

Right, the censorship hypocrisy bugs me more than anything. All are guilty of that, as far as I can tell. We live in a world of instant gratification, info at our fingertips. We want answers and we want them now. The idea that it will take months into years to study and understand this well enough to draw useful conclusions isn't comprehensible for a lot of people. As I've told my bosses at work... 9 women can't have a baby in a month. Some things take time no matter what you throw at them. We don't have the patience anymore, the world moves too fast.

That's terrible. His videos were great.

I presume you could call TDOS and ask for clarification. The hard part will be finding someone who knows what they're talking about. Congrats on your progress, thats a tough hill to climb.

A friend's wife and daughter are both nurses. Surgery patients get tested 5-8 times before and after their procedure. I wonder if/how those get reported.

I dont know what I would do, my reaction would depend on a lot of variables, but no I wouldnt beat up grandma if she pepper sprayed me for no reason. Turn the other cheek and all that. And its not worth jail and lawyers. If she grabbed me by the hair and started a hockey fight, then it'd be game on. But I'd still probably just try to get away. I've only hit a female once. A girl kicked me in the nuts for no reason in high school. I slapped her in the face before I went down. Several people saw. Nothing else happened.

Sure it is, just depends on the intensity of the effect. That guy seems to be just standing there like it wasnt really bothering him. In that case, no I'm not gonna ground and pound grandma. If I hit her or push her down, it could seriously injure her and i dont want to deal with the consequences of that over a whif of pepper spray. I'll leave that for her future cell mates.
