I have the same radio. "Not trunked" is going to be your problem. You can check out https://www.radioreference.com/ for all kinds of frequencies. If public safety scanner stuff is what you want, most all of that is trunked. Best alternative I found is an app called scanner radio.

Yep. Weve used both food city and kroger drive up several times over the last few months. Sometimes ok, sometimes less ok. Depends on who's shopping for you. Nothing major, just some weird substitutions or lack thereof. They also do delivery.

Which contradicts what we think we know about how the human immune system works. If multiple positive tests produce similar symptoms each time, then either we dont know how the immune system works, or there's multiple strains of C19, or its mutating that fast (which basically nullifies a vaccine). If subsequent positive tests produce no symptoms, then the immune system works like we think it does. I'm not sure why people with no symptoms get tested, other than being forced to by their employer due to exposure. Its perfectly reasonable for a person with immunity to test positive, their immune system is doing its job. The anti-vax crowd has proven that these viruses are still around. Just because the vast majority of the public is immune doesn't mean the virus has been eradicated, it just means you don't have symptoms. I suspect the public would be shocked at the results if we started testing for measles, small pox, or polio. As for data manipulation... there's lies, damn lies, and statistics.

My 20yr old craftsman gas trimmer finally quit so I got ryobi 18V trimmer a couple months ago. I already had a couple drills so it made sense to have common batteries. It does my half acre lot (with 2 big flowerbeds) easily on a 4.2mAh battery. Takes me about 30 mins. It also uses the same string as the old one which is 0.080" and a round/square hybrid. Its mostly round but has 2 raised edges. It works well enough, I've got about half of a fairly large spool to use up before I got shopping for something different.

That's why I got one. Not too big, not too small. I wanted a hammer rather than a spike, much more useful for me. Mine had handle issues when I got it, the head had peeled a bunch of the wood off during installation. There's no way whoever did it didn't notice. I emailed them a pic and they sent me another handle. Luckily I was able to fix the original handle so now I have a spare.

Some if their stuff is fine for typical homeowner use. Some of it is junk. At least they're owning up and issuing a recall.

I carry a Kershaw kryo which gets most of the abuse. I also carry a small Boker folder for more precision work. My Leatherman has a blade but I rarely use it. I've also got a CRKT Woods Chogan thats proven to be a quite handy little camp axe.

When last year? A nasty bug of similar description passed through here Nov-Jan. Personally, I think it was C-19, which helps explain the relatively low impact its had here since.

We've thoroughly enjoyed the "Drain The Oceans" series on NatGeo. Its fascinating in a nerdy sort of way. We've also started watching their "Barkskins" series and its good too.

So today we were finally allowed to go back to church. Masks, pre-registration, no singing, and social distancing (<50% capacity) were required. Sitting through the service was the longest I've had to wear a mask so far. A few observations... I was really hot to begin with but that faded, 90 deg outside surely didn't help. All but one person, a 7 yr old, were wearing their mask correctly (nose and mouth covered). None of the masks I saw (mine included) had any sort of reasonable seal around the face. Most were downright loose. If part of the intent if masks is to reduce the amount people touch their face, they seem to have the opposite effect. My mask slowly sagged below my nose and moved a bunch whenever I talked, requiring adjustment. I observed most people fiddling with theirs on multiple occasions. Most of those I spoke with gave a little shrug or eye roll on the topic of masks. One guy's mask had a clear panel over his mouth. Very strange to look at but you don't realize how much lip reading you do until you can't see anyone's mouth.

Interesting data, I'm glad to see some demographic info. Funny that the news never reports any of this. 84% of those who've died were over 60, 65% were over 70. Only 6% of postitive cases have been hospitalized. Id be curious about the duration of the hospital stays compared to the outcome.
