  1. They say that, but you might be pleasantly surprised. We've ordered a few things from Ireland with similar shipping times. They showed up in less than 2 weeks.
  2. I've got a cryo that I'm not super nice to. It gets shaving sharp and holds an edge well enough for me.
  3. I'm surprised too. I feel sure it would either lodge in the barrel or blow out fairly quickly.
  4. Thats great Bersa. We just haven't had any this year, very strange. Saw the first one in months while watching a monster thunderstorm yesterday.
  5. This thread inspired me so this is now on my short list... https://www.bladehq.com/item--Kershaw-Al-Mar-AM-3-Assisted--71075
  6. Sorry to hear that, a bad day for sure. We've had 9 positive so far at work, with 2 sets of father/sons. Symptoms have covered the spectrum with one guy was on a ventilator for a few days. I've heard he's getting better.
  7. I've got a few small Boker folders. They don't get used hard but have been perfectly serviceable.
  8. Local schools here opened with a similar schedule. They made it 3 days before shutting back down.
  9. I thought mortars were muzzle loaders and howitzers were breech loaders.
  10. There are thousands of coffee mugs, cans, and bottles full of coins in homes. When banks try to charge people who bring bulk coins in, they quit doing it. That and credit cards means circulation has dropped drastically in the last 6 months.
  11. Blount County started back this week on a rotating schedule. Most schools have more and longer breaks now, so the school year is spread out a little longer, but it's the same 180 days.
  12. Because the party knows what's best....
  13. Right, the censorship hypocrisy bugs me more than anything. All are guilty of that, as far as I can tell. We live in a world of instant gratification, info at our fingertips. We want answers and we want them now. The idea that it will take months into years to study and understand this well enough to draw useful conclusions isn't comprehensible for a lot of people. As I've told my bosses at work... 9 women can't have a baby in a month. Some things take time no matter what you throw at them. We don't have the patience anymore, the world moves too fast.
  14. That's terrible. His videos were great.
  15. He convinced the ATF to ban bump stocks...

  17. I presume you could call TDOS and ask for clarification. The hard part will be finding someone who knows what they're talking about. Congrats on your progress, thats a tough hill to climb.
  18. A friend's wife and daughter are both nurses. Surgery patients get tested 5-8 times before and after their procedure. I wonder if/how those get reported.
  19. I dont know what I would do, my reaction would depend on a lot of variables, but no I wouldnt beat up grandma if she pepper sprayed me for no reason. Turn the other cheek and all that. And its not worth jail and lawyers. If she grabbed me by the hair and started a hockey fight, then it'd be game on. But I'd still probably just try to get away. I've only hit a female once. A girl kicked me in the nuts for no reason in high school. I slapped her in the face before I went down. Several people saw. Nothing else happened.
  20. Sure it is, just depends on the intensity of the effect. That guy seems to be just standing there like it wasnt really bothering him. In that case, no I'm not gonna ground and pound grandma. If I hit her or push her down, it could seriously injure her and i dont want to deal with the consequences of that over a whif of pepper spray. I'll leave that for her future cell mates.
  21. If she got physical I'd defend myself for sure, but I wouldn't "beat her up". I'm not a big guy, but unless that 60-ish grandma has some secret mad ninja skills, I feel pretty comfortable that I could defend myself and hold her until the cops arrive if necessary. All those years wrestling can be useful occasionally. If she pulled a gun, she'd better be faster than me. If it was bear spray, I presume I'd be more concerned with taking care of that. Especially if someone had video.
  22. The behavior of the man shows how effective pepper spray can be. Clearly it's not particularly debilitating. Funny how she leaves right after. I suspect she will be charged with assault. As for beating her up... not a chance. That'll get you your own mug shot to go along with hers.
  23. Splintered the bone, bullet bounced around and did huge tissue damage, heavy blood loss that killed the tissue.... plenty of possibilities.

    MEECES!

I have a P3AT and LCP. Neither are especially fun to shoot, but the LCP is definitely nicer. Both are plenty accurate. I pocket carry them when I feel deep concealment is necessary or I just don't feel like wearing a belt holster, much more common in hot weather.
  25. Does said wearer get tested weekly and check his temp daily to confirm no infection? The idea is to protect everyone else from the typhoid Mary's (or covid Greg's ) of the world. A related anecdote.... my brother in laws kids (twins) constantly had strep when they were little. I started calling them the toxic twins because it seemed like one of them was always sick. Every time my kids would spend time with their cousins, they'd end up sick too. This went on for several years until the twins doctor suggest the parents get tested. The test revealed that their dad was an asymptomatic strep carrier. He had his tonsils removed and none of them have had it since.
