  1. Looks good, what gave you trouble?
  2. For a TN HCP, yep, you have to suffer through the class same as everyone else.
  3. About 2 months. She ordered in June, got it a couple weeks ago. Covid killed the supply chain, so hopefully that's getting better.
  4. Code breaking will always surpass code writing. Its a matter of motivation.
  5. You won't regret it. Its very cool.
  6. CA is a really big state. Sounds like a normal year anymore.
  7. My job requires me to photograph various things and provide them to our customer. I've learned to be cognizant of what's in the background, be that a plumber's crack or proprietary tools. This teacher needs to learn to mind her own business, and the child's parent need to learn to set up a screen or put the child's back to a blank wall.
  8. Sort of on this topic.... my wife got me a Postive Grid Spark for my birthday about a month ago. What a cool little amp. I've never been a pedal guy, just plugged into the amp and made the best of it. The Spark is a game changer... I think they should have named it Chameleon. There's so much there, hours can quickly disappear into the void of fiddling with settings.
  9. Best I'm aware, the 10 people I work with who tested positive have all recovered. One guy (late 50's) was in the hospital for about a week, but im told by his son (who also had it) that was due to his being stubborn and not seeking treatment before it got really bad. Most reported typical flu symptoms, a few with loss of smell and/or taste, and were out of work for about a week.
  10. So who else has forgotten they were wearing a mask and went to eat or drink something and dumped it down their shirt?
  11. Exactly. Just like the original red flag laws, there's no due process here. TWRA is judge, jury, and executioner. That's not how government is supposed to work, we have separation of powers for a reason. And if TWRA makes use of this loophole in the law, how many other alphabet agencies do it too? Patriot Act sound familiar?
  12. Wow. Never heard of "open fields" before. Trespassing to install surveillance cameras on private property with no due process is legal just because they aren't near a house? I strongly disagree as well.
  13. This was me as well. My parents still had several and my boys found them and destroyed what was left a few years ago. Now they've gotten their own kits so I'm trying to show them a right way to put them together so they look decent. Teach them a little patience and craftsmanship along the way. A good friend of mine built some fantastic models. Airbrushed oil stains and dirt, little diorama displays, the whole bit. And yeah, those tiny parts sure are a lot harder to see now.... Do tell...?
  14. I didn't renew my NRA membership when the Wayne/Ollie drama came out. I'll look at GOA. One thing I can't figure out is why you guys give them your phone number? A single marketing phone call is grounds for permanent banishment IMO.
  15. Wooded, south facing slopes are the perfect place to find rattle snakes. I've learned to pay attention to that when hiking in warm weather.
  16. I agree that the colors match but the pattern isn't well defined. I'd also be surprised to find one that something has killed and been eating on. I've only ever seen rattle snakes way up in the hills.
  17. So what do you think it is? As for what ate it, I'd guess a raptor or racoon.
  18. Hard to tell. DeKay's brown snake, maybe a king snake, baby water snake? https://www.tn.gov/twra/wildlife/reptiles/snakes.html
  19. Cool. What a great opportunity for a young man to go and do that. My wife and I would really like to visit Normandy.
  20. What they said... Kroll, heat, and patience. If they've been peened in place, they'll be tough to get out.
  21. This was after the results came back. We had several people get tested who worked in close proximity to those who were positive. They all got answers in 1-3 days.
  22. I have no reason to doubt what I was told. Those folks were told to either take a week off or provide a negative test result so they could go back to work.
  23. An interesting anecdote... 2 people in our office came had similar stories this morning. One friend, one family member of different coworkers. These folks decided to get tested a week or more ago. They got in line, filled out the paperwork, but ran out of time and had to leave before getting tested. They both got letters stating they tested positive and had to take this week off work because their employer also received the results.
  24. Let us know what you think. Seems a little odd that the part number of the 3" blade is 2335 while the part number for the 3.5" blade is 2330. Several sites all show the same thing, so i guess thats correct.
