This latest round has gone through the unvaccinated at work in the last few weeks. One friend and coworker passed away on Thursday. Kevin is first person I've personally known who's died. He was a quiet guy, about 60, with no complications that I know of. Of the dozen or so others, about 3 have been in pretty rough shape and went to the hospital. He's the only 1 who ended up on a ventilator. I believe the rest are getting better.

The ice cream machine is a nightmare to clean. They hate doing it so they just say it's broken.

While I agree with @Erik88 that the global population and our actions have influenced climate change, to @gregintenn's point, only human arrogance is big enough to think its entirely ours to do or undo. The global climate is far too complicated a thing to have any confidence in our ability to predict long term change. There's plenty of things we can do that we currently believe to be directionally correct. But those directions are likely to continue to change as our knowledge base increases.

Exactly. Dirt naps are a lot less expensive on a little bike. A single guy needs about 6 motorcycles.... a trials bike, an MX bike, a street legal trail bike, a sporty street bike, a touring bike, and a track bike.

We had a new guy at work from Indiana. He was talking about towing various things with his S-10 and Subaru Outback. My response was... that may work in Indiana, bit its a bad idea in east TN. It didn't take long for him to figure that out for himself.

My parents had the same problem and had a deer nuisance permit for several years. They also usually have a big flock of turkey's running around, but they vanish into thin air on opening day.

I had to put chicken wire around my gardens to keep the rabbits and such from eating everything. I also got a decent air rifle for the occasional game pie. Those might still be salvageable if you can get them protected.
