Mechanical engineer for the last 20 years or so. Designed car parts for a while, then industrial products, now overhauling jet engines. Time will tell what comes next.

Holey smokes that's a big dog!

I've never been a big fan of Rottweilers, there's lots of other larger dog options that'll be way easier to manage than a Mal. I also don't think it would be a good mix with your smaller dogs. They might be thought of as snacks. We have a lab mix and he's a pretty good dog. We got him from friends who's dog had puppies unexpectedly. He follows our boys around everywhere and barks ferociously at strangers while running the other way. Once introduced, he'll lean so hard he'll push you over and perhaps pee on your shoes if he gets real excited.

.40 Percussion Kentucky Rifle Advice

I know a few Knoxville area reenactor guys who are big into these things. I'll see if I can find some info. -
Malagators need a job and plenty of exercise. You don't want the dog to get bored. They can be great companions but they need training. If you want a dog to hang out with and bark at strangers, a mutt from the shelter will do that fine. A friend trains them for various things.... http://fdk9tn.com/

Happy to see the Braves make it back to the WS. I just wish MLB had any interest in the next generation of fans. 8pm games mean most kids won't see past the 2nd inning. I rarely make it past the 3rd or 4th. 5:30am comes early.

Who Here Has A Generator, And It Saved Them ?

I've looked at solar a couple times over the years and the payback is just too long for my taste. We have the benefit of cheap TVA electricity, so it's hard to justify solar. -
... with a weird (lap steel?) bridge and sound hole. Unique.

100% gas is must have for anything with a carburetor. 100LL is a bit of overkill as no power equipment needs anywhere close to 100 octane, 87 works just fine, but it does last a long time. The trick to long shelf life is no air exposure. A full, sealed container will last quite a while. Don't put 100LL in anything with a catalytic converter, it'll clog it up with extended use. -

My wife has been after me to get one, and the 2kW inverter is what I'm looking at. As with others, actually power outages are rare and short. A bigger one would be nice, but its just one more thing to store and maintain. I'd get the predator if I had to get one today, but I've been keeping a look out for deals on the other brands. Like Mac, I assume they're all mostly the same. -
No need, that alone is enough.

What kind of guitar is that?

I grew up in Chattanooga too. I dispatched many a squirrel off mom's bird feeders with .22 shorts.

Because they've stayed 5-10 years behind the curve that whole time. Its the nature of the beast. They need tax money to update the infrastructure, but they don't get the tax money until after its needed.

Dad is a USAF guy... he calls helicopters "a collection of loose parts flying in formation". Sometimes they break formation without warning. AC-130.... the guy who sits next to me at work used to be a crew chief. We service the engines.

Gotta spend it on something.

Not much you can do. Get to know the officer who will come visit every time she calls.

In about 5 years, you won't have much choice with a new car.

There's 2 very different kinds of Irish whisky (or Scotch) peated and good. The peated stuff tastes like dirt because, well... peat moss. Bushmills and Jameson are not peated and are both good.

So its going where the turf farm was. Go figure that there's 2 partnership parks around. They'll need some major road work to deal with 750 employees. The first Amazon site is at the south end of pellissippi parkway and is well under way this point. They've got 4 stories of steel building going up. So the rumored 2nd Amazon site could be where I thought S&W was going, or could be where SCCY was going, or yet somewhere else.

I didn't mean to infer SCCY was having work done, just that someone is.
