  1. You might think of structuring it more like a club, rather than a business.  You would allow the club use of your property (like a $1/yr lease or something?).  Club dues would be used for maintenance, improvements, etc.  I haven't a clue about the tax or legal obligations.  Dad is a former president of a craftsman's club.  I could ask and see what he knows about how all that works.  Regardless, I'd definitely talk with a lawyer and get some sort of umbrella liability policy.   I'd also agree with the $50-ish price point.
  2. My kids love looney toons....  can't figure how that happened.
  3.   It will rust, though how fast and how severe depends on the environment it sees.  A black sharpie or paint pen is a quick fix.
  4. I hope she does win.  At least then maybe she'll deserve half the attention she gets.  As has been stated, she's proven to be a mediocre race car driver at best.  Shows how far a little T&A will get you.    As for being better for the sport...   you mean better for the entertainment.  NASCAR hasn't been a sport since the early '90's.

    Gun Shirts

You guys are gonna get me in trouble.  I have way too many t-shirts as it is.
  6.
  7.     It's not uncommon.  Have a look at this...  http://www.kegisland.com/firing-pin-wipe.html   I shoot at Gunnys (or anywhere else) on rare occasions.
  8. Welcome!
  9.   My older son has his lifetime and the younger one will get his on his b'day this year.  I think my Dad got his lifetime (senior) but it's waaaay too expensive for us folks in the middle.
  10. From here:  http://www.atf.gov/publications/download/p/atf-p-5320-8/atf-p-5320-8-chapter-2.pdf       That said, you might look into an "optimum" barrel length.  Sometimes a small difference in barrel length can make a considerable difference in accuracy and/or reliability.
  11.     Nope.  :)    A #6 screw has SAE (english) threads.  An M6 screw has metric threads (hence the M).  The two are not interchangeable.    An M6 bolt has a shank diameter of .... 6mm (0.236").     A #6 screw has a shank diameter of 0.138" (screw # multiplied by 0.013"....   6*0.013=0.138").  So the #6 is considerably smaller.
  12. I can't really tell from the pics but you may be experiencing what I've heard called "primer wipe". Its when the firing pin is still protruding slightly during ejection. When the ejector forces the case out the firing pin drags across the primer resulting in a gouge. Check for a sticky firing pin or broken firing pin spring (if so equipped). It may very well be normal.
  13.     Very true.  All you see is videos of idiots wearing a bio-hazard suit while changing a diaper and movies like Daddy Day Care.  Guess who got the clean-up call when the little one pooped in the tub last week?  Society thinks men are incapable of taking care of kids.  If we were women, we could raise hell about inequality and stereotypes, but since we're men, we just shut up and get on with it.
  14.     That's interesting too.  I've no idea what went on with paypal... the reason I couldn't remember the password is that it's my wife's account.  So if there were notices or something there, I wouldn't have seen them anyway.
  15.     Not quite.  A 1 inch M6 bolt will be listed as M6x25.  You may even find it listed as M6x1.  Walmart may not have them.  I'm sure Lowes or HD will.
  16.   I'm fine with auto renew, though it'd be nice if there was an email notice or something a bit prior.  Since I only did 6 months last time, that's what it's done again.  If given the opportunity next time around, I'll do a year.
  17.   M6 is the size, 100 is the length (100mm) ~ 4" long.   If you really only need one 1" long, Lowes or HD will have one in their specialty fasteners cabinets.  If you really need one 4" long, you may have to go to an actual fastener place.
  18. Looks good.  I'd glue some felt on the legs or get those plastic slidy thingys so they don't mar the floor.
  19. School me on these apps...   seems I need them.  And probably a tablet.
  20. I have a couple strange things going on...   I noticed my membership had expired a while back and intended to renew it.  When I got to paypal, I couldn't remember the password and didn't complete the transaction (best of my memory).   Then I forgot about it until I noticed that my CC had been charged (Feb 5th).  It's been about 2 weeks since then and my benefactor status hasn't been updated.    How did the transaction get completed?  I presume the system needs a nudge to update my status.    I did purchase a few stickers a while back, but that was billed to my CC separately.  No idea if that's related.
  21. Tape it up, clean it with alcohol, and shoot it with some flat black rustoleum.  4 or 5 thin coats and it'll be fine.
  22. Welcome!
