  1. Welcome!
  2. Welcome!
  3. Agreed. This is the only way I'd consider it.
  4. In that case, hmmmm.... Are there any other wet/damp areas in the basement? Damp walls, puddles in the corners, water stains anywhere? Edit... Water is condensing on that ceiling area because it's the coldest surface. What's between the ceiling and the porch above? Is it open or could it be sealed off somehow to keep the cold outside air away from it?
  5. All that moisture is getting in there somehow, figuring out how is the hard part. If there's enough moisture for it to condensate, there's too much for it to be a viable long term storage area. Id guess the moisture is coming from the unfinished part of the basement. Any way to seal that off?
  6. I ride an XT225 and it's a fun little bike. For single track type stuff I'd be most aware of the weight. 450's are great right up until you have to drag it over/under a down tree or out of a ditch. I wear a small pack to carry my lunch and a hydration bladder. I don't like much weight in it and I sure wouldn't want to fall on something hard. Speaking of that, be sure to leave plenty of room in the budget for good gear. Real off road boots seem to be the most common thing people skimp on, they make a world of different both in comfort and in protection.
  7. I would assume the will and/or the lawyers are requiring the sale. The only way to divide it up evenly is to sell it. I'd hope the family got to pic a few first. If not, I'd say family who wants specific guns will have to buy them at the auction.
  8. Got pics? I'm having a hard time picturing this.
  9. It was stated earlier that is was an M&P Shield.
  10. I've entered several times but never won or heard of anyone who did. I assume someone wins.
  11. Rick McGills low balled me big time on a trade as well. The vehicle I wanted was at a fair price and they offered me $1500 for a $6000 car. All I said was "really?" and got up to walk out. He talked me back into his office and I told him all I wanted was a fair deal, his offer was insulting and it's gonna cost him $1000. I would have taken $5000 for that car but now it's $6000 and not a penny less. I got my $6000.
  12. You likely won't find a decent one for under $10k. The used car market is crazy and trucks are the worst.
  13. Be strong man, you're just getting warmed up. Seriously, I talked with a national match shooter a while back. He decided not to clean his match AR for an entire year. More than 1000 rds down the pipe, no malfunctions, no loss of accuracy.
  14. I wish we did have condors. Those things are gigantic!
  15. Btw... If the front diff starts leaking, replace the seal and get rid of it.
  16. We have both black vultures and turkey vultures here. http://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Black_Vulture/id http://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Turkey_Vulture/id
  17. Aren't the lib's the ones complaining about how profiling is wrong? Except when it suits their motives I guess.
  18. It's not before I forget, it's before I fall asleep... Happy New Year y'all.
  19. Vultures are social birds, they're perfectly happy in small or large groups. I'd guess you just happened to be driving through the right weather conditions where they like to fly.
  20. Cool. What's with the pistol not going back into battery?
  21. The t-stat (and couple gallons of coolant) in my trailblazer was something like $80 and a total PITA to replace. It's buried underneath the alternator with AC lines right in the way. Need to be fixed? Yes. Cheap and easy like a small block chevy? Not hardly.
  22. Little kids' hands are stronger than you think. They grab stuff and squeeze. I got my wife a belt holster for Christmas. She liked it pretty well and I think (hope) she's decided the belt holster is easier than lugging it around in her purse.
  23. That's the funniest thing I've seen in a while. :D
