  1.     That's a good answer as far as I'm concerned.  I like cayenne.  "Buffalo" sauce is vile.
  2.     Yep.   Same reason a 10lb dumbell is easier to carry than an 8lb 2x4.  It's called moment of inertia if you want to be nerdy about it.
  3. Earplugs.    Two halves....   1.  I don't want to be half deaf like my Dad. 2. Half the point of riding is so I don't have to talk to anyone.
  4. I'm old fashioned.  Burn them to a CD and send/take it to her.
  5. At some point I'm gonna have to try this stuff.    What kind of heat is it?  Like Hooters wing heat, jalapeno heat, habanero heat, or.... ?
  6. What's wrong with the one that's in it?  Some shops will refurbish one for a modest cost.  They replace the end caps and dunk it in the acid tank to remove the scale.
  7.     Sounds like a good idea for a raised bed.
  8. Pick the one you shoot the most accurately while shooting quickly at typical self defense range.
  9.     If you're on a computer, click on the pics.  They should open in another window in photobucket.  With your cursor on the pic, icons should appear in the top right.  The magnifying glass will reload the full size image in the browser, the gear lets you download the full size image so you can open it in your photo viewer of choice.
  10. That's what I meant... I can't have a chainsaw?!? :panic: And one could argue that simply installing the bayonet turns a Mosin into a pike. But the ax is pretty cool. A chainsaw is cooler (only if gas powered).
  11. I'll echo the suggestion of SAO revolvers. Those can have pretty light triggers.
  12. Bad news there. Reminds me of the BB guns wars we had when I was a kid. No pellets allowed and only 1 pump on rifles. It's amazing no one got hurt.
  13. No chainsaw?!?!  :panic:
  14. I saw them while flying into Detroit one winter night.  We circled around over Lakes Erie and Huron in a holding pattern to land from the north.  Thankfully the pilot told us to have a look out the right side of the plane as the faint green glow of the borealis was visible on the horizon.  Pretty cool.
  15.     I agree, but getting to that point was probably pretty enteraining.
  16. Either on my belt or in my pocket, depending on various things.  Though I'll be honest and say I'm pretty lax about carrying at home.  If I've been out somewhere, sometimes I'll leave the gun on, sometimes I put it away.  With 2 little kids, I'm not comfortable storing them anywhere but on me or in the safe.
  17. That might be the best one yet. Nice! No... no "might" about it. That is the best one so far.
  18.     Exactly.  I'd bet my wife's Shield has the same or less recoil and certainly less muzzle flip than my big ass Ruger P85.
  19. On a couple of occasions, I've pondered whether I was desperate enough to try shooting there.  This confirms my decision that I wasn't.
  20. Thoughts and prayers for you and your family.  Sorry for your loss.
  21. If y'all come east, I'll try to meet up. The XT doesn't do road trips real well.
  22. Take her to a range with rentals. Bring a few friends so there's plenty for her to try.
  23. People are strange. Very little surprises me anymore.
