  1. I would say yes, got mistakenly left on the truck.  I'd guess the Philly to Memphis is a standing route where the same truck just drives back/forth every day.
  2.     Agreed.   I bet he gets his peepee whacked for it.
  3. How does a fist fight end up in court?  What a weenie.  :shake:   However, there's no reason they can't have a formal ceremony at a date/time/place of their choosing with all the accessories.
  4. If fed from an underground waterway, 60 deg is a pretty good bet.    Cold water?  Try most any of the rivers in the Smokies.  Most stay in the mid 50's, even in July/August.  Brrrrrr.
  5. .... Or get Spots make you one. I'd bet you'll sweat a little trying to break one of his. ;)
  6. If you say no, I'll bet you're rather likely to see the business end of his gun. And probably a few of his friends. Not being forthcoming with regard to being armed would likely have a similar end result should the officer find out unexpectedly. That said, the safest place for a gun is in its holster. The one time I've been pulled over while carrying went very similar to yours. He asked where it was, I told him, and he said leave it there and keep your hands on the steering wheel. Yes sir.
  7. I like medium rare too, but only if I know where the cow came from. I typically order medium when out, but I don't get steak very often. I'd rather cook it myself.
  8. I have one of these.... http://m.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=11846128&cp=4406646.4413993.4414427.4414433&categoryId=11484400 It's got 5 pistols, 3 or 4 knives, pepper spray, and a few other things in it. Not as secure as a real safe, but it keeps my kids out which is 95% of what I need it for.
  9. That the rider says he noticed the cop watching him and went about his business anyway makes me think this isn't his first rodeo. How he handles the stop would seem to confirm that. Had I noticed the cop watching me, I probably would have fiddled about with the bike for a few minutes just to see if he'd lose interest. If not, why even get on the bike? Just walk over and say hello.
  10. That rider reacted a lot more calmly than I would have to having my gun snatched like that. But then, I don't open carry or have my license plate mounted illegally.
  11. Beach wise, we've been to Hilton Head several times and like it there. It's pretty quiet and comparatively inexpensive. This year we're going to St. George Island FL with my in-laws. We went there a number of years ago and liked it. I'd also really like to travel out west. Fly into Denver, rent a car, and see how much we can see in a week. My wife really wants to go to Hawaii... But that's just not in the budget.
  12.     They do, it's called a Challenger.
  13.     Don't forget DAU errors....
  14. Welcome!
  15. Took my HCP class there many years ago, nice place. The shooting portion was outside, in February. It was a balmy 29 deg. The instructors found much enjoyment in the fact that the only guns to quit working in the cold were Sig's.
  16.     GoPro.
  17. A friend of my wife (and Marine) came up with this idea. Should be a good time, pray for good weather. http://standtogethertn.com/ :usa:
  18.     http://www.almanac.com/gardening
  19. This belongs to a friend. I believe it's called "toxic orange".
  20. Numrich is the place to get the proper factory screw. :D
  21. What they said, leave it be and shoot it. It would be nice if it was still pristine, but now it's got character and years worth of memories. Mine looks worse than that.
  22. Is it a particularly special screw (:D) that a hardware or fastenal type place wouldn't have?
  23. I put my phone on my bed-side table when I got home from work yesterday and didn't pick it up again until this morning.  First I heard of this was the story on the news while eating breakfast.  Ignorance is indeed bliss.
  24.     A significant point to consider.  If the guy can't afford to do the work, declares bankruptcy and bails, you will gain nothing by suing.
