Polish it out with cratex stones. If the rest of it isn't polished, you can brush or lightly blast to get the finish back.

It's simply a case of poor packaging. Someone in shipping needs to be advised as to why those pressboard tubes are on the shelf. A bent spring has been irreparably damaged. It can't be fixed. Buffer springs probably aren't stressed high enough for it to matter, but still....

Meh, people need to learn to mind their own business and keep their business to themselves. If this girl and her parents didn't expect this type of reaction after publicizing those photos, they're either really naive or just stupid.

Clearly that's not been properly maintained, but lot of stainless steels will rust. All the grime picked up in his hands/gloves grinds the finish off in no time. All the wallering around in the muck and not drying it certainly doesn't help. Some people also have fairly acidic sweat which will accelerate the corrosion. The important question is, does it still work?

Dry fire practice with it. Figure out why the muzzle is moving around so much.

That's an idea, but way too high tech for my parents.

My parents get those calls all the time. They've asked me about it a few times. They doggedly refuse to drop the landline because soooo many of their friends have the number (they have cell phones too) and they also refuse to just not answer the damn phone when they don't recognize the caller ID. Mom gets so mad and yells at them... I ask, why did you answer it? All you're doing is confirming that it's a valid number and ensuring they continue to call. I like your solution.

Not as different as you might think. As a former band geek, I like to think I prefer more musical music. But I'm also a metal head and a really bad guitar player. I like most "classic rock", metal as long as it doesn't involve lots of unintelligible screaming, blues (old and new), some jazz (mostly trumpet jazz from my band days), upbeat classical stuff, bluegrass as long as the singing isn't too twangy, prog and virtuoso guitar as long as it's not weird just for the sake of weird, country (leaning toward southern rock), and even some folk music that usually involves bagpipes. I'll even admit to liking some rap though it's very limited to stuff with a good groove or hilarious lyrics.

While I agree and we certainly give my buddy "the business" over having to use the app when he's out riding, it's different when you're out on the water with little kids.

TTU is a suitcase college. They won't have an audience on a Sunday. If there's no one to put on a show for, what's the point? I was one of the few who hung around on weekends, the place was always deserted.

A friend uses Glympse to share his location with his wife when he's out riding his motorcycle. He says it works fine. I've got one of the basic garmin etrex series gps units. I got it for the pretense of hiking and riding but honestly haven't used it very much. I'm too old fashioned and like maps better.

People grow and change, it's part of life. If a band wrote the same album 4 times, most wouldn't like that either. That said, I'm not a huge 5FDP fan but I hadn't noticed a dramatic sound change. They still write a ballad to get radio play and the rest of the songs sound like classic thrash with trademark blistering scale run riffs. Do they not do that anymore?
