  1. You can't fix stupid.
  2. Not her, CZ and con air.
  3. And my wife wonders why I'm very hesitant and particular about pulling into random driveways to turn around. How long did you sit there to give this guy time to come out and confront you? What were you doing that you didn't see him soon enough to big out before he got to the vehicle?
  4. Smurf Air Force ...
  5. Wow. My wife would be very jealous. We have a feeder and typically have 1 or 2 pair, plus young.
  6. Might also be a pine snake. http://www.tnwatchablewildlife.org/MOBILEdisplay2.cfm?habitat=&sort=aounumber&typename=Reptile&Taxonomicgroup=Reptile - Snakes
  7. I did a little googling and yes he did say that. The context is a bit questionable when you read the entire speech. For me, it's hard to say for sure how he meant it without hearing the speech in full.
  8. Sorry for your loss.
  9. Situational awareness, threat assessment, decision making, presentation, trigger control, all while under stress. The Olympics is a good example of advanced applications of the basics
  10. See if you can use my referral code... It saves us both a few bucks. https://secure.smugmug.com/signup?Coupon=VlcPcQWTe7dG6
  11. A little too close for comfort. Glad she's ok.
  12. I wouldn't ship it in anything that looked like a rifle case.
  13. I hope you've got a tractor that makes relatively quick work of it. I'd put the house in the same spot, but mow 1-2 acres around it, and let the rest go. The field is good habitat with enough mowed buffer to keep the critters away from the house. My in-laws have 5 acres and mow about 2. They (and several neighbors) let a nearby cattle farmer have the hay.
  14. You mow 6 acres? On purpose?
  15. I have a mix of fescue, weeds, and Bermuda. I've tried all the over-the-counter stuff, and none of it is a long term solution. It's just a neverending amount of time and money with little reward. If your neighbor's have weeds, you're gonna have weeds, and there's nothing you can do about it. If you want it to look like a golf course, hire one of the Green Lawn type companies to do the chemicals. It'll be cheaper in the long run. I gave up. It's green, I mow it, and that's good enough. Weeding the flowerbeds and tending the garden is more than enough work.
  16. A coworker has a twin barreled 10-.22 gatling gun. I've never seen it shot, but have heard tales. It most assuredly does not have a way to attach a cordless drill.
  17. No, it's goooosefraabaa. One of the funniest movies I've ever seen. Possibly nsfw.
  18. Mags? Not mags, firearms. One of each, 2 of many, 3 of some, ...
  19. Wow. That was fast. I guess the customer just played dead and they ignored him? If so, he's really lucky.
  20. Goooosefraaabaaaa
  21. If you'll save enough money to cover a fragged gun and the associated medical bills, go for it. Otherwise, I'd never shoot cartridges reloaded by someone I don't know (and a few I do know).
  22. It was carbureted so no knock sensors and hence the need for 100% gas regardless of octane. I spent 3 years and half the value of the bike fixing damage to the fuel system caused by ethanol. The fuel system in anything less than 10 years old was likely designed with E10 fuel in mind, so using it won't cause the corrosion and seal degradation that's common in older stuff. If the compression ratio in a naturally aspirated engine with aluminum heads and EFI is less than 10:1, 87 octane is fine. Things like direct injection and boost change the game.
  23. My CBR listed 91 minimum but ran just fine on 100% 87. No knocks, no pings, I couldn't tell any difference.
  24. One of each, 2 of many, 3 of some....
