Most small generators have throttle controls to (try to) maintain constant speed, so yes it's supposed to run at full speed regardless of applied load. This is part of why most generators produce "dirty power". Every time the load changes, the throttle controls must react to maintain constant rpm. But they can't react instantly so the rpm varies, which then causes the voltage and frequency to fluctuate. This is why it's a bad idea to run some electronics (computers, etc.) using a generator that produces unconditioned "dirty" power. Generators that are rated "electronics friendly" condition their output to minimize all those fluctuations. They do it by converting the AC signal output to DC, passing it through a capacitor which acts as a buffer, then converting it back to AC which cleans up the signal. Easiest way I know to do that on the cheap is to use a small engine (or bicycle, water wheel, etc.) to spin a car alternator and run the alternator output through a power inverter.

Yes, voltage (and frequency) are proportional to engine speed. Generally, a generator has to run at full speed (3600rpm) to generate full voltage.

It's a new striker fired design. The current LCP is double action hammer fired. The larger size seems counter productive to me, especially with the LC380.

I don't disagree. The safest thing to do is to ride a bit faster than traffic flow to help prevent someone getting you from behind where your visibility and awareness are worst. But that was hardly what I'd consider heavy traffic and 15+ over the limit while weaving through the cars was asking for it. Having a gun in full view is the icing on the cake. I didn't see where that was, but it looked like Florida where concealment is a requirement. At least the cop didn't sneak up behind him and snatch it out of his holster like that moron here did a while back. The lesson clearly is, be polite, do what you're told, don't be stupid, and things will work out fine.

Or.... Don't ride like a dumbass and you won't get pulled over in the first place.

I've got an old P85, and yes, they are tanks. Mine's been stone reliable and after eleventy gillion rounds, is still more accurate than me. It's got a lot more muzzle flip than you'd expect for such a big pistol, and the trigger reset is long, but it's still fun to shoot.

Story I've heard is these guys were hunting on another's property without permission. It's been going on for years. When the property owner would fuss, his property would mysteriously catch fire. He got fed up and called TWRA to set them up.

I didn't realize bear season was open already, I work with a couple avid bear hunters. Personally, I don't consider hunting with dogs to be "hunting". More akin to shooting fish in a barrel.

We were there late May as well, same experience. All bags get searched and "random" metal detector screenings at all the parks.

Rug for the wildlife resources folks to show kids. That bear will get disposed of long before a hunter gets a chance at it.
