It's got nothing to do with United at this point. He violated federal law by not complying with direction from the flight crew and resisted arrest by the police, and it's all on multiple videos. I'd say his best case scenario is they agree to disagree and he writes his lawyer a big check.

Dig in, scavenge everything left behind by those who leave, then be ready for the handful who make it back alive after a failed bug out attempt.

Interesting. If that's where I think it is, it's a stone's throw from where I work. I believe that business park was one of those "build it and they will come" deals, except they built it 15 years ago.

10-15 miles before the tracks wear through (on pavement) might be a drawback to this one.

When I wrote this I was under the mistaken impression that the guy they removed had a warrant. Yes, the United employees should have just rented a car. The whole situation is exceedingly stupid.

10-15 miles per tank of gas might be a bit of a drawback...

No amount of explaining was gonna get that guy to walk off the plane. The proper solution is to get everyone else off the plane and then cuff 'em and stuff 'em away from prying eyes.

I'll 2nd what @Murgatroy and @analog_kidd are getting at. I spent 7 months living 37 miles northwest of my job. 45 mins to get there at o'dark thirty and 60-90mins to get home. Into the sun both ways. My car got 37 mpg, so that helped with the fuel expense but it still got old real fast.

Yep. They're designed such that the tension in the wires helps stabilize them. They are less stable if the wires come down. They're also design for some ice load, so they can support additional weight, but putting any sort of shelter will increase the wind load dramatically, likely with unpleasant results. Then there's lightning to think about...

Welcome! Thanks for your service. Love some nice milsurps.

We take ours to Fairview Animal Hospital here in murvul. We've been pretty happy with how they've taken care of our geriatric dog. I'm no vet, but I think surgery is about all they can do for hips. It's not cheap.

Keep in mind that all the above only applies to TN. If you travel to other states, you have to obey the laws wherever you are.

Welcome! I lived in Church Hill for about 8 years, it's beautiful up there.

I was thinking of "what's her name" at TDOS that seems to be both knowledgeable and helpful with all things HCP related.

They were separate when I did it 10 years ago. Why not call the DOS and ask?

What's the SCFM rating for the horns?

Nah, "forgetting" the bipod just means he has to go back tomorrow...

I think was Sam is getting at, and I agree, is you could ditch the 1.5gal tank and T off the outlet of the 12gal with a regulator dialed to 125psi to supply your horns, etc.

If I recall, you do have to go online and update your address. But you can keep a printed copy of the address correction with your permit and not have to get your actual permit updated until renewal time.

Generally you have to mail order a colony of bees to get a hive started. I'm also fascinated by bees and would like to have a hive or 3 myself. But as mentioned, it's seems like a fair amount of work and I don't think I'd have the time necessary to care for them.

They keep trying, but the weathergasm just hasn't quite happened yet.

I am still here, 1 update, 1 question (yamaha xt250)

Dealers.... yeah. In my experience, the majority of them are marginally useful. It's pretty common to have to travel hundreds of miles get what you want. There are no dealer networks and they generally won't move bikes around or make any effort to find a specific bike for you like car dealers do. You've got to do all the work to find what you want and go get it. "Fly-and-ride"... The XT is a very simple bike and OEM parts are readily available online. Anyone with even modest wrenching skills can easily accomplish the typical maintenance tasks. A factory service manual and YouTube are all you need. If its a brand new bike, I wouldn't ride it back either. Droning down the highway is not a good way to break it in. It'll ride just fine diagonally across the bed. Put it on the side stand, 2 straps on the handlebars and 2 on the passenger pegs pulling down and forward. Stop after the first 10-15 minutes and retighten as necessary. Good to go. -

Check in on the XT forum, I'll say Hi there... http://www.xt225.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=cfrm Ive got an '06 225 and have been very happy with it. As for hauling it, I'd guess it'll fit with the bike diagonally and steering at full lock, but the rear tire will sit on the tailgate. I doubt you'll be able to fit the bed extender around it. As long as you've got a couple straps pulling forward and down, it'll be fine. Renting or borrowing a small trailer is also a good option, I have one. The bike is light enough that you could also use a hitch hauler without much issue as well. -
Perhaps the pharmacy world is different, but in my experience the school only matters getting the first job. After that, work experience is far and away the biggest factor. Where you got the piece of paper only matters if the person doing the hiring has one from the same place, and even then it doesn't necessarily mean a lot. I understand the Daddy/daughter thing. One of my coworkers has both daughters in college in Alabama. He drove there and back in a day to fix some rinky-dink problem with one of their cars. To which my answer was ... "she's in freakin' engineering school! Tell her to figure it out and fix it yourself." He just smiled. I'm thankful for boys.

With those grades, I'd seriously look into other schools (if you haven't already). That seems plenty good enough to get way more than "a fraction of the overall cost". At the end of the day, she'll have the same piece of paper as every other PharmD out there. My grades weren't as good as hers and I got paid to go to grad school. Granted it wasn't pharmacy school, but still.
