Good to know Like I said, just word of mouth, no first hand experience. Is it true they have a lifetime warranty even if you're not the original owner?

Impressive the Taurus held up to the test and the cheapest of the bunch. Never owned a Taurus because of all the negativity I've heard about them but may have to reconsider. I had that KelTec and got rid of it within a month.... couldn't get used to the trigger pull.

Anyone else follow this since the first movie? Been awhile since the last one but "The Final Chapter" will be released Jan 27th (but who knows if it will really be the final one)

Well I can see I'll be making a trip to Bud's in the near future (if they have it) I've already talked myself out of a SCCY (too light & looked cheap) so maybe I can talk myself out of this if I don't like the grip.

TN Lost Reciprocity With Washington State

Aint it something? Even with the 2A in our constitution, you can't get a non-resident permit for CA, NY, NJ, etc. but you can get a non-resident permit (PAL) for Canada which doesn't even have a 2A. Heck, I could even buy or sell a gun up there. So much for "shall not be infringed." For anyone that has the time (or gets really bored) look at NJ gun law... I had a headache after the 3rd paragraph No way you'll ever get a non-resident permit there. -
Currently using an ART DJ Pre II as my receiver (Nakamichi AV-3s) doesn't have a phono input. Not a bad unit for the money ($40) but I'm looking to upgrade to a tube pre amp like this one: https://www.amazon.com/Little-Bear-Turntable-preamplifier-amplifier/dp/B00H0FIGUO When it comes to sound, I'm a fan of vacuum tube equipment. Sorry to hijack this thread.... I could ramble on about audio equipment

Yup. I've always liked vinyl even though it was scarce for quite a few years. Nice to see it's made a comeback (guess hipsters are good for something after all ) Nice turntable I have a Technics SL-6 with an Ortofon Super OM20 cart and a Philips AF777 with the an original Mark IV cart (new, old stock)

I've never had a flu shot. Now, flame me all you want but, if I'm around people that are sick, I'll take echinacea. I've been told "that stuff doesn't work, it's all in your head." Well if my mind is that powerful then so be it. All I know is I'm not at the doctor getting Tamiflu and whatever else. (knocking on laminate wood and particle board )

Found out you can't get a gig on just any old computer. Here's a C/P from the Xfinity site:

http://www.nbcnews.com/politics/politics-news/house-republicans-advance-measure-repeal-obamacare-n706716 So what the heck have they been doing for the last 4 years? "Oh The people have given us the House, Senate & White House...guess we better do something."

@Clod Stomper Just wondering how you made out with this. Above average temps thru next weekend so it's a great time to fix stuff.

Actually 240 calories (about the same as a Kit Kat, Hershey Bar, M&M's) and 23g of sugar (about 1/2 can of coke) so really 1 (or 3) won't hurt

AT&T Fiber may be an option. Looks like it's available in Nashville & Memphis. Underway in Knoxville. https://www.att.com/internet/gigapower.html

Especially if it's one of those old "3 on the tree" manual transmissions. Put a kid in one of those and they're clueless When you have one an old cast iron engine, like a 71 LTD, they don't warm up as quick. Depending on how cold it is, it can take up to 30 minutes to defrost the windshield. Both my cars take awhile to warm up but it only takes 3 minutes for the heated seats to kick in and I'm good!

4K...Gigabytes.... There's absolutely nothing wrong with my Commodore 64 running CompuServe! Also the picture is just fine on my Magnavox floor console TV. And the base swivels! Let's see your flat screen do that! Usually when that happens, one of the kids discovered PPV

Same thing with heavy rain.....Of course running bald tires that would make a NASCAR driver jealous doesn't help Those metal bands sticking out aren't road grippers
