  Sorry, I just went thru this crap 2 weeks ago.  All I wanted to know was that I wasn't going to lose my home if I was gonna be laid up for a week or two in the hospital.  I went thru an independent agent rather than deal with the healthcare gov website.  Saved me quite a bit.

Every plan is different with a lot of small print.  The days of $25 copays are over unless you have a Cadillac plan (which is like paying a second mortgage) Best to call your insurance provider and play 20 questions with them.  Also, do everything thru your PCP.  If you're out of network and need to see a Doctor, call yours for a referral.  It can lower your out of pocket expense.

Just checked my BMI on the CDC website.  I'm supposed to weigh 136-184.  136??? :rofl:  OK... should I acquire AIDS??  Only the government could come up with this crap.  I work with a guy that weighs more than me but he's into weightlifting.   Guess I should tell him he's on the path to death according to the CDC.

Depends on your definition of "good."  Lots of 12 & 20 gauge and a couple 22's.  Most in rough shape.  One appeared to be held together with electrical tape and another one had a hose clamp on it.  Didn't buy a thing.  Even though I'm close, it was a wasted trip. :bored:

I used to like change when I was younger.  Buying the latest and greatest.  Now I find myself enjoying the old stuff... tube radios, turntables, and cars without a check engine light.  And for some odd reason, I want to buy a LaserDisc player. ^_^  And I really don't like change after that "hope and change" speech years ago.... :squint:

That's great if I hold off on buying a gun once a year.  I'd rather see legislation that gets rid of the background check fee for HCP holders.

Had DirecTV & Dish.... too expensive. Neighbor has U-verse... not reliable. I've had Comcast 3+ years & no complaints. No one else gives me 50mbps download speeds. I must be one of the rare satisfied Comcast customers.

You're right BigK, most people don't like Linux because it requires some work.  Linux doesn't do much til you tell it to.  And some things have to be run thru terminal.  I've used Mac for 5 years and Linux about 12 years.  I do have one laptop with XP on it as that's required to run my Volvo diagnostic software.
