I bought new tires for my SUV a few months ago. For me, Pep Boys had the best deal (buy 3, get the 4th free). Bought Cooper Adventurer A/T. Nice looking tire and quiet... compared to the Good Year Wranglers I had. YMMV.

And earlier today I was stuck behind some dumb-*** from Michigan who was blocking both lanes doing 30mph (it was raining and there's some slush) Unless you have studded tires, everything is pretty much useless on ice.  For wet or snow covered roads, I'd rather have a 2WD with new tires than a 4WD with bald tires.

Agree on Wyoming.  I have no plans to move but if I had to, it would be Wyoming.  (No state income tax :pleased:  )  Don't know about Idaho & Utah, but I used to live in Oregon and have no desire to go back.

You appear to be right. Every 6 hours they pushed it a little further north. Kentucky , WV, VA will get hammered. Knoxville said 4-7" now down to an inch or two. Fine by me, I have work to do.
