Stupid isn't it? And the new charter system is a joke too. 36 guaranteed too qualify and 4 competing for a spot. No more 43 cars. Imagine how much money those under-funded teams are spending only to find out they didn't qualify and have to move on to the next track. With the cookie cutter cars they have these days, the only way to tell them apart is the badge on the front. Gone are the days you could tell the difference between a Ford, Chevy, and Dodge. A rainy day like today and I'll watch. Summer time, I'll be outside. However, despite my negativity, I'll be at Bristol in April and August because my Uncle makes the trip down so I get to visit. BTW, the last 2 years, they've had plenty of empty seats. It doesn't fill up like it used to.

Sticking to my word. donation sent.

Just got this. Obviously they spared no expense on labeling. :biglol: But don't let the looks fool you... I'm having it on the rocks right now and it's really smooth. Glad I took a $50(!) gamble.

Nothing like being in an enclosed area with people that have the flu, pneumonia, bronchitis, etc. Wrong time of year. I'll pass. :hiding:

From what I heard, he's staying in til the end. Of course they all say that but time will tell. Super Tuesday will probably narrow the playing field. The 4 states before that are 4 completely different demographics and not representative of the rest of America. I just pick on Carson because he's polling so low. ;) I should probably throw Bush in there too. :P

Really? I used to live in Oregon which doesn't have a sales tax, and there's 4 other states without a sales tax. So how does the federal government "fix" competition in those states? And since when is it the federal government suppose to level the playing field? Kmart is closing stores because they can't compete with Walmart. 84 Lumber is closing stores because they can't compete with Lowe's and Home Depot. It's called capitalism. Now IMHO, Bud's in Sevierville could easily lower their gun prices because they over charge for their indoor range. Federal regulation isn't the answer.

Unless you're voting for Carson, I think it's OK to vote early. ;)

I'd love to buy guns with my tax return but for some reason, I'm told I need dental work as soon as I get it. ;)

I'm waiting until the last minute. Don't want to vote for Gilmore if he's just gonna drop out. I'm kidding ;)

I'll have to watch it again. Don't recall seeing a car in the background. :squint: https://www.yahoo.com/tv/between-daryl-negan-viewers-missed-130055619.html

I know. It's called global economy.

After doing a search, it looks like York is the closest thing to being made in USA. But you're definitely not going to see this next to my house :shake:

Uh-huh... as they face their "greatest villain yet." A guy with a baseball bat. Somehow that doesn't compare to ending up on the menu at Terminus. :2cents:

There are cheap Chinese A/C and heat pump units on the market but you don't see me buying one. ;) My Goodman unit is 22 years old and still working. I'll buy another one. They're made in Houston but unfortunately, Goodman was bought out by Daikin (Japan) So it's a catch 22... do you want a unit made in USA with the money going to Japan? or a unit made in Mexico with the money going to USA? :meh:

I'm not a financial adviser (tho I did stay at a Holiday Inn ;) ) but I'm still putting into my IRA. Let it tank, it won't stay down forever and the returns will be great (hopefully) Look at most mutual funds. They're taking a beating for the past year but when you go back 10+ years, most are showing a decent return. And just about any fund will return more money than what the interest rate is at a bank. :2cents: Tough part is determining what life might throw your way in 10 years... will you still have a job? will you have to move? need a bigger/smaller house? Paying down helps free up equity to keep your options open for whatever happens. (Tin foil hat on mode) I'd rather keep some debt so in case someone tries to sue me and take everything, they get all my debt. :biglol:

http://money.cnn.com/2016/02/12/news/companies/carrier-moving-jobs-mexico-youtube/index.html More unemployed! But that's OK because Carrier will offer scholar programs. They can go to college and learn another trade. Don't know why they're moving to Mexico... all the Mexicans are coming here.

I must be getting old... back in the day, I was just happy to have tires that had tread. My main concern with any vehicle I bought was gutting the factory radio and replacing it with something better. :pleased:

Speaking of hipsters, I'd like to find this beer:

As long as they don't switch to single malt scotch. It's already expensive and I don't care to see it go up. ;)

Only until "their" candidate doesn't get the nomination then they refuse to vote. :shake:

If O gets his way, we'll pay another 20-25 cents a gallon: http://www.marketwatch.com/story/heres-how-much-obamas-oil-tax-would-add-to-the-price-of-gasoline-2016-02-05?siteid=yhoof2

Well hopefully someone here gets him. That puppy would get lost in the first snowstorm in CT (and they're about to get hit up there). I'm not an expert but from what I can tell, the size of his legs and paws means he will be a big one. (like you said) Something tells me you were watching the puppy bowl instead of the super bowl... ;)
