  1. +1 here too
  2. I recently picked up a Remington 1100 Tac-2. It's quite a nice shotgun. I haven't had a chance to check out the SPX 930 but I've heard good things.
  3. I'm sorry for you loss. You, your wife, and family are in my thoughts and prayers.

    Sig P220R Carry

I had one, it was a nice gun but I prefered the full size 220 over the carry, but that's just me. Mine, a DAK model, shot great and I had zero issues (with 500> rounds). The extractor problem seems to be more prevalent in the Carry than the other 220 models. Sig now produces 220s with external extractors to solve that issue.

    XS Sights..

I'm a fan, I've had great luck with them. I've purchased 5 sets this year.
  6. This link may be useful to you if you're thinking about a WASR http://www.gunsnet.net/Linx310/index.shtml
  7. I'm tossing up the idea of getting a Glock 34 mostly for range fun. I have fired a G34 and found it super accurate but the owner had "tuned" it a bit with trigger goodies and fiber optic sights. I'm a Glock guy and currently have 2 G19s and a G26 in the stable. What do you folks think about the G34? I would eventually like to purchase a G17 to have one of each 9mm model, so I'm not opposed to getting a G17 either. I'm focusing on the G34 at this time because it's been on my wish list for some time. What's a fair used and new price for a G34? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, guys. Matt
  8. My p245 liked Speer Gold Dot, 200gr. +P The 245 is a great gun. I was suprised how tame it is for a small .45 and it's really accurate.
  9. welcome!
  10. Tungsten, have you had much trigger time with a Glock 34? If so, how do the two compare? Looks like a great gun.
  11. Never been to a 3-gun match....and Greeneville is only an hour away....might have to check it out. Would it be very spectator friendly?
  12. Very nice. I know that I'm enjoying the Stag I found down in Elizabethton:up:. Stag makes some good guns, priced fairly and American made.
  13. Very nice AK! Does In Range have a website?

Good looking pistol, you'll love it. Keep an eye out for mags, you can usually score some good buys on Sig Pro mags.
  15. I've had the opportunity to fondle the 45c but not fire it. In regard to size it is bigger than the 9c or 40c. In my opinion the 45c seems to be about the same size as a Glock 19. I really like the size and 8+1 is a good attribute as well. I'm currently looking for one in flat dark earth.

  17. All of the 3rd Gen. Glocks I've owned (G27, G19 x4, G34, G22, G21) have all had the "nub" on the extractor that served as a loaded chamber indicator.
  18. it's stock, all of my Glocks have been this way. Perhaps your Glock 23 is an older model. Does it have a rail or finger grooves on the grip?
  19. The trace is probably more CYA than anything else. I hope this gent gets his 1911 back sooner than later.
  20. An NCIC check is different than a ATF gun trace. There's a difference. A "Check" through a PD or dispatch is simply searching a database for "wants" or "hits" on a serial number.

    any H&k guys?

I previously had a USPc .40, P2000 .40, USPf .45, and a P2000sk 9mm. Though they were great guns, I prefered Glock and Sig more. I truely wish I would have kept the USPf .45. Although it was huge it shot great, was accurate and held 12+1 rounds of .45. The P2000 would make a great CCW but I prefer my 229 and Glock 19.
  22. I have been abusing mine for nearly three years now. It's probably my favorite long gun.
  23. +1, exactly my point, there are many to choose from and on topd of that you can ask if it was a West German P220, nickel, two-tone, 9mm P220, etc. I'm some what of a Sig whore so I even get excited when someone else gets a Sig!
  24. Very nice rifle, I'd like to pic one up one of these days. Did it come with iron sights?
  25. Sounds like you ended up with a good haul from the Meadowview. What kind of Sig 220 did you get?
