I used to view it as a hobby, now it's a tool. I still enjoy shooting but I just never seem to make the time to do it. There is always something around the house I have to get done and on the weekends the range I visit is too crowded. If I could shoot on my own land I would easily do it once a week.

The LED's I bought came with stickers to put on the fixture to let the next person know it had been converted. I doubt much would happen though honestly.

I had a woman order a filet one time "as rare as you can make it". The cook asked me for clarification. He then put it on the grill for less than a minute per side I think. He basically put some grill marks on each side and sent it out. The customer said it was good but "could have been a little more on the rare side". That thing had to still be cold in the middle.

I'd be terrified of what I might find in the mirror with that much light!!

I did find a 2 pack of ballast bypass LED's at Home Depot but they were $30. Keep in mind those 6000k's you posted will be very bright white. Some people compare it to a Doctors Office. Just depends on what you like but wanted you to be aware.

Omega is right. You will bypass the ballast with those. That seems to be a good price too. That's 50% less than I paid at Home Depot.

I waited tables for 6 years. I loved the people that would order their $25 steak well done and then complain that it was "dry".

A lot of mistakes were made by the shooter. Too many to convince a jury he was acting in self defense. If witness testimony was true, he may have something wrong with him if he's that excited about killing someone.

I find myself shooting less and less as well. Most of my money is being diverted to other hobbies/projects etc. There are a ton of guns I would love to buy but I had the realization that it will just be another object in my safe that only gets shot once or twice a year.
