I'm not sure how this is any different than the 100 other mass shooting events we've had. Certainly no worse than any of the shootings involving kids. In a week this one won't even be in the news.

Hope I don't offend anyone, but we're about a million times more likely to die an early death from heart disease than we are to use a gun for self defense. Losing a little weight would will have the added benefit of making that gun easier and more comfortable to carry.

Finally someone noticed what I've been saying!! To answer your question, I believe it's capitalism/greed. I don't think there are local taxes on gas in TN, only state level. I've been noticing the same thing for over a year now. It changed during COVID. If I leave Knoxville and drive to a rural area, gas is sometimes .40 less. When you consider the fuel depot is in Knoxville it makes no sense. They had to pay more to haul the gas to the rural area, so if anything, you'd think it would cost more. If anyone has a better explanation I'm willing to listen.

I said the same thing. We were out-coached today. Alabama went into halftime and made adjustments. TN went into halftime and passed around a joint. Going for it on 4th down was stupid but doing it from shotgun was even worse. Why not snap the ball under center and let your giant QB push it forward? Horrible play calling too. We drove down to the red zone twice in the 1st half and didn't attempt to run it in. I hate Alabama.

If we can get a better performance from Joe Milton and our wife receivers I think we can beat Alabama Saturday. If not, we will lose badly. Our defense is playing amazing. We're 4th in the country for sacks and tackles for loss.

It's painfully obvious they knew this attack was going to happen and allowed it. To believe otherwise it would mean one of the worlds best intelligence groups had the biggest failure since 9/11. We are all being manipulated and all the usual suspects are banging the war drum. I just hope we watch from a distance and don't get involved.

Getting in someone's face with a cell phone does not warrant deadly force. This guy is extremely lucky he was found not guilty. Watching him pop that guy in the stomach was extremely satisfying though. I'm glad he isn't going to prison for that even though I think he made a mistake.

Not concerned. This group cannot pass new laws and Congress has shown they won't either. This is one of those feel good measures to show they are "doing something".

The liquor is called Termidor. They drill holes into the ground along the entire perimeter of your house and inject it into the ground. If you have concrete they will drill small holes, inject the chemicals, then patch the hole back. That's what my house had done by the previous owner in ~2015 and so I'm due for reapplication soon. That's correct. There is so much capacity right now that this will ultimately be the case. I feel for their 30k employees and wish them well.

That's a poor excuse by people who don't want to take the blame. UPS employees are in the same union and they made $13 BILLION in profit last year. Yellow was poorly managed. The longer I work for a corporation the more I come to appreciate unions. Drivers are horribly underpaid when you consider what they have to deal with and unions are about their only chance of getting decent pay and benefits.
