One of my favorite podcasts is featuring the I-70 serial killer that has never been caught. The police believe the killer used a very unique and rare .22lr weapon of which only 6,000 were imported from Germany. I know we have some history buffs here and people knowledgeable about German guns. I don't think I've ever laid eyes on one of these. Specifically they are looking for a Erma Werke ET22. It's a bizarre looking gun and seems like an odd choice for a murder weapon. There are hoping someone may know a person that owned one of these in the early 90's.

He put up a great fight and kept such a positive attitude that he really became an inspiration for many people. He just seemed like such a wonderful person. Pancreatic cancer is horrible, one of the worst from what I've read. I'll be making a toast to him this evening.

I've watched that one every few years and get a laugh out of it every time.

Oh I don't think it's as bad as people here claim, but I'm not sure I agree with Elliot that unless you're in the hood, you have little to worry about. I would treat Memphis just like any big city and assume I have a better chance being a statistic there. I went to Memphis last year for a wedding and had a great time. It was our first time ever visiting and we stayed in Midtown near Annesdale Mansion and I didn't feel unsafe.

Which politicians are you referring to? I hope you mean both parties because I've not seen any evidence the GOP cares what the ATF is doing.. We need to throw them all out and start over and those of us that advocate for a 3rd, 4th, or 5th party get mocked by the hardcore partisans that really only care about defeating the other side, and don't really care what happens after that. The GOP has us as captive voting blocs and they don't give a damn about our AR pistols. To them it's another bump stock. Of course the left is worse on guns, but voting for the lesser of two evils isn't doing us any favors.

I'm just trying to understand how this goes down. Say you made a perfectly legal purchase of a Saint AR pistol, the ATF is now saying those would need to be registered as an AOW? And they are banning future imports of similar guns? Or they are just thinking about it? We're talking about millions of guns here.

I've seen some really bad injuries from people trying to break up a dog fight. My MIL ended up with a horrible scare and 30-40 stiches from breaking up their 2 dogs many years ago.

Thanks for this video Tim. My wife and I are currently renting a place near downtown and I've had several dog encounters while walking our dogs. I always carry a gun and a knife. I feel like the chances of me breaking up a dog fight without accidentally shooting my own dogs are really low so I've determined I might have to use a blade if it came to it. This might be difficult if I'm the one being attacked but I guess that's where the gun comes into play.

I could have sworn that when these threads happened in the past everyone said not to put in in the garage because it saw the biggest temperature swings and was easiest to steal from. When I bought from The Safe House they never told me to put it in the garage but I also never asked. We put both of ours in our master closet(it was huge) and bolted them to the concrete slab. When we had tile installed they just went right around the safes and I included both in the sale of our house back in April. That being said, if everyone is saying put it in the garage I'm sure it won't hurt. I just wouldn't want to sacrifice parking space but that's just me.

You mean to tell me that fear mongering is tool used by both sides to drum up support?

People seem to have short memories. I remember many thought the GOP was going to pass all sorts of pro gun bills in 2017 when they controlled the house and Senate. If there was ever a time when it was going to happen, that was it.
