If all of this is about making the drug makers richer, Merck seems to be missing their chance. They are one of the producers of the drug. I'm not clear if they are the only one in the US or not. Well she didn't die. She was pretty sick for a while. But she also took a slew of other things. My mom goes to a Chinese Medicine doctor if that tells you anything. It wouldn't be possible to say if it helped or not. It didn't seem to hurt her though.

I still believe the folks most vocal about this are the ones that will never get it. My mom called the vaccine a poison and then ultimately took Ivermectin when she got COVID. But people are taking the HORSE version too and getting very sick. I realize Ivermectin is prescribed by a doctor but I can't help but laugh at all this. Folks have made up their mind the vaccine is dangerous but will then overdoes themselves on a horse dewormer. Brilliant.

Ya know, videos like this really explain why certain countries are so far behind the rest of the world. I watch a lot of those videos from websites like liveleak and it's always people in the 3rd world countries making the worst decisions.

I see people OC a few times a year and I swear that most people don't even notice the person carrying. People are oblivious. I've not carried openly in many years and when I did it was while hiking. I wouldn't do it in public.

Greg, what did your wife decide to do? I have a friend in a similar situation and he's planning to quit his really good government job. I really hope he doesn't regret it but I have to hand it to him for sticking to his beliefs.

We will have to agree to disagree. Folks are all about a company being allowed to make their own decisions until it's something they don't agree with. That is what's happening here. Companies mandating employees get vaccines is not a new thing. This has been happening for many, many years. Schools have done the same thing. No one cared until THIS particular vaccine for reasons we can debate. To be clear, I don't like seeing people get mandated to get the shot. I think it just drives a further wedge into an already heated issue and only makes people dig their heels in deeper.

A fourth possibility is that the 39 people were ones who were already severely sick from something else like cancer. Maybe they had some underlying conditions. Hopefully your daughter will be fine. Can she get that antibody infusion from her doctor?

I'm not convinced everyone really wants balanced news. People want to consume information they agree with.

I'm confused. Did you get vaccinated right after having covid? You said no side effects but then went on to say your symptoms are going away.

Yeah I feel bad for her. It wasn't like the videos you see of people intentionally driving through floodwaters. I'm convinced some of those people are committing insurance fraud for a new vehicle.
