yes sir!! I would love to have the Rainbow edition. My best looking gun is by far my p238 similar to the one in my avatar. That's 1/2 the reason I like it so much.

I wanted to get some opinions on the planned open holster protest going on this week at colleges across the US. Students for Concealed Carry on Campus - ConcealedCampus.com Members of Students for concealed carry on campus(SCCC) are going to be wearing empty holsters on campus all week in protest of the Gun Free Zones. I want to participate tomorrow at UTK but I'm wondering what trouble, if any, I could face. I feel like its a good cause but I really try to keep a low profile while on campus. opinions please.

My best friend since the 2nd grade and I were hanging out one night about 3 years ago. He lives out in Lenoir City on the lake. As he was headed out Muddy Creek about midnight he came to a curve in the road. Midway through the curve he notices a man dressed in solid black standing in the middle of the road. He was driving a Jeep Cherokee at the time and to this day doesn't know how he didn't flip the thing trying to avoid this guy. He said he must have came within a few feet of the guy but the guy didn't make any attempt to get out of the way. He was so shaken up by it that when he got home, his mom could tell right away. He still talks about that event sometimes. Next.

I asked about the different 9mm weights a while back and never really got a definite answer from anyone. Everyone is going to have a different opinion, but honestly that 147 grain should be fine in the XD. Some people will say 147 should never be used in any gun. This article is somewhat dated but provides some interesting insight into defensive rounds. Ammunition For The Self-Defense Firearm I have heard some people say that they carry a heavier round in the winter with the idea being that a bullet will have to travel through more clothing. I'm not sure I really buy into all that but that's just me. I think any of those you have listed will do just fine. I know I wouldn't want to be shot with any of them!

I'm glad you started this thread because it saved me the trouble from having to do it. I went to visit Bill on tuesday and left his store with a new Springfield XD subcompact. He had the best price around by about $80. He was also extremely friendly and more than willing to help. I am taking my ex girlfriend(don't ask) there next week. She is going to buy an XD for herself. After that, my step dad is going to go by there and pick up a 12 gauge! Bill has my business from now on!

these videos make me really want to join the border patrol. All the mexicans that I work with at my job work 60+ hours a week and send all their money back to mexico. The guy that washes dishes is building a 7,000 sq. ft house in Mexico. It really sickens me. I'm not saying he doesn't deserve to have a nice house, but the fact that they send all their money back to Mexico really bothers me. They aren't doing anything to help stimulate our economy. I really believe this has a lot to do with the poor shape of our economy.

I couldn't agree more, I spent all day at the range last saturday with him and Mike.357 and Garufa. They're all good people! OS is one of those guys who can tell you stories all day and their still interesting. I don't know if I have the balls to call him chief though:cool:

After shooting Ohshoot's XD I finally decided it was time to get one of my own! I decided to go with the XD subcompact in .40 S&W. I went to Bill's Outpost today and picked this up. Bill had the best price around and he even threw in a box of Hornaday ammo for me! I strongly recommend Bill's Outpost!

Ya I feel like it was a pretty good starting price. It was easily $300-350 worth of gear. I started the bid at $80. That was cheaper than most of the other guns on their and I was giving away all the gear with it too. But oh well, like you said, I can always list it again. Thanks for the help!
