  1. Mike, me and Ohshoot are getting worried about you with all these recent threads. But I would have to agree with BBQ pizza, it is bbq sauce as the base instead of tomato sauce... and...it...is...delicious.... Brixx has a great BBQ chicken pizza
  2. geeze louise so much confusion..I didn't end up carrying when I went in the other day. I left it in my car(I realize still illegal).
  3. Thats a very good question, I've often wondered what would happen if a police dog scratched vehicle while searching for drugs. I've seen several instances on tv where the dog claws the crap out of a car looking for drugs, only to come up empty handed. I would be pissed!
  4. sweeeeet light, I went with a penlight instead just because they slip into a pocket easier. I carry the streamlight stylus pro. Also have the Fenix LD20.
  5. saturday is my birthday, what better way to celebrate. If I'm there it will be pretty early in the morning.
  6. random question of the day goes to..... Raoul!!!
  7. you're right, thank you!
  8. just got this email from the NRA stating that this bill goes before the house tomorrow. I went ahead and emailed our representatives. You all should do the same to make sure this passes. https://tmail.utk.edu/exchange/emathew3/Inbox/Restaurant%20Carry%20Reform%20Bill%20to%20be%20Heard%20Tomorrow!.EML/?cmd=body&Security=1&unfiltered=1
  9. man those are harsh words:dropjaw: I don't see any problem in the officer holding the gun during the stop however unloading the magazine seems a bit much. Better safe than sorry I guess though.
  10. When we lived in Sarasota FL, my mom was on the beach with a friend. They saw UFO and so did many others in the area. I think a few people even got it on camera and it was on the local news. I definitely believe in UFO's...not saying I think aliens are on board but there are some things that just can't be explained.
  11. that's too bad. thank you though!
  12. I'm heading to the post office later and I was wondering if we can carry there? It's not a courthouse but it's still govt so I wasn't sure. Thanks!
  13. I believe that's the one you let me shoot. She sure was purdy;)
  14. I'm not sure if this counts but when I was 9 we lived on the TN river in Loudon off Matlock Bend Rd. When the water went down you could walk out to a long narrow island that was about 75 yards from the shore. I was out there walking around one day and came around a corner to find a goose nesting on her eggs. She was not happy to see me either, she made all sorts of horrible noises and chased me for about 30 feet. I was fast back then and she kept right up. I was scared out of my mind!
  15. I'll throw another one in the mix. I don't know if this one is weird or just cool. When I lived in Loudon years ago I was in the car(mom driving) and I spotted a bunch of money blowing around in the middle of the road. Nearly $200 worth of cash!!! I guess it flew out someones window. I kept it and started my first bank account with it.

    4 and Out

    lets hope so
  17. I think you are missing the point, I am a paying customer, I have spent a lot of money at your store. If you don't believe me, I'll pm you my full name and I'm sure you can look up on your computer. When I'm in CCA inquiring about a gun, and I mention the fact that I have a Taurus, I don't think it's wise for you to make me feel like an idiot for purchasing one. I'm not saying Taurus is a great manufacturer but that is not the point. Bottom line, don't make the customer feel stupid. That's the only point I was trying to get across. I'm not sure if it was you I talked to or another young guy but it really pissed me off that I'm in your business spending my money and was being told I had a sh*tty gun. On another note, I would like to compliment CCA on the improvements they have made to the range recently, much nicer.
  18. ahhh CCA. Not much else can be said than what has already been mentioned by others. I will say though, that the past few visits there have been getting much better. Tony(who to my surprise is not the owner) has been very helpful and friendly to me however there are still a few employees that are really rude. I'm not sure if its JWP or not because I don't know what he looks like(avatar ?) but there is one younger guy who really needs to work on his people skills. On 2 separate occasions he has felt the need to basically tell me my Taurus is a POS. Are you kidding me? Even though it is a Taurus, I don't give a damn what your opinion is of it. You don't ever tell a paying customer that their gun is crap. I don't care if it's a High Point. What an idiot to think he could say that to a customer and then expect them to continue to shop there.
  19. ignore this faust. for some reason only part of your message showed up last night. thanks for the help.
  20. thanks but not the answer i was looking for...would you like a re-do?
  21. yes sir!! I would love to have the Rainbow edition. My best looking gun is by far my p238 similar to the one in my avatar. That's 1/2 the reason I like it so much.
